Pretty much everything I've played has been already been brought up. I only have a couple to add that aren't there. The Twisted Tales of Spike Mcfang -which is a pretty easy but fun action RPG game that isn't well known. Worth checking out if you never heard of it. King of Dragons and Knights of the round. I think both are pretty memorable from the Arcade. The SNES versions are faithful recreations and play well with the SNES controller. Nice additions for a collection if you like beat em up games with a little bit of a twist from Capcom. Actraiser is pretty cool. The second game isn't too bad as well if you go into it just expecting a typical action game. Hmm the 2 Breath of Fire games have not been acknowledged yet. Pretty classic if you are an RPG purist of any sort. There is also Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia (Terranigma for those European fans) if you need some action in the mix too. Great series that deserves to be updated. Joe and Mac and Pokey and Rocky are 2 great games for you and a friend to plough through. I really loved Joe and Mac when I was young. Still love that music and cheesy caveman sound effects. A bit of a surprise entry would be Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose. Great animation in the game and if you like platformers, it is one that doesn't get a lot of love but it deserves it. Check it out if you remember Tiny Toons or if you want something colourful and tight on the SNES. Last 2 would have to be a couple of Konami greats in TMNT IV: Turtles in time and Sunsetriders. Both are wonderful arcade ports on the SNES and feel almost as though you were playing the same game from an arcade. High production value and replay value as well. Both have co-op which is a nice plus as well. |
