I have run into this issue several times on my new slim 360. It's not a console killer or anything, but I've noticed that the Wall side of the power brick doesn't stay in the power brick very well. I've had several times where I'd go to turn on my new 360, and it won't power on. I look at the power brick and think *gasp* my power brick died! This is not the case however, it was just the power cord had wiggled its way out a little bit over time, and I have to push it back in. Anyone else experiencing this? Just wondering if its because they went from 3 prong to 2 prong on the new power bricks and it just doesn't hold as well. Like I said, it's not a console killer, but I find it odd and was wondering if I was the only one. |

I don't know much about the 360 slim however they switched from 3-prong to 2-prong before they released the Falcon chip motherboard on the older 360. 3-prong power supplies with 203w are the only ones you'll find and those came standard on Xenon/Zephyr type motherboards. I've never seen a 360 Slim power brick before so I can't say what's wrong with it :/ |
