console spray paints- the guide

if you have ever wanted to spray your consoles i.e. super nintendo (because of the common yellowing issue) here is just a list of some of the paints i have used on various consoles such as the snes, genesis and various controllers. NOTE: this is what has worked for me and not a definative list. my best advice is to experiment and try what works for you!

krylon fusion for plastics- the most common paint and the cheapest. has the best spray tip which is directional and the recoating is fast! the downside is that the gloss seems tacky even after curing. sold at specialty stores and walmart as well

rust oleum universal- cool effects such as metallic paints, can go on anything!! and the finished product looks awesome!! the downside is a wierd swiffer looking spray nozzle (looks like air fresheners) long dry time (like most rust oleum products) very expensive almost 8 dollars!!!

valspar spray enamel- some awesome colors and it is affordable as well. however, it is a bit watery and the tip comes loose alot as well. only available at select retailers.

hope this helps!!
