What are some of your most memorable moments with video games? This can be you completed a game on the hardest difficulty, getting 100% on a certain game, getting a headshot across the map, ranking on the leaderboards, etc. I'm just curious to see what are some of your most satisfying moments that you've achieved in a video game. Here's my top 10 (as of Dec. 2, 2010): #1: Being ranked #13 on the leaderboards on the stage "Highway" in the 5min Score Attack on "Pac-Man Championship Edition DX". Although I'm not number 13 anymore, I was happy when I actually made it that high on a Pac-Man game, last time I checked I was ranked #100 but that's still good because I'm still in the top 5%. #2: Being ranked #20 on the leaderboards on the stage "Silent Knight", a predator challenge on "Batman: Arkham Asylum", it was for completing the challenge in 0:30.41 seconds. #3: Getting a blindfire headshot on a guy on "Gears of War" who was rolling forward up a staircase. His head was touching the steps when I shot his head off. Many people have done this before but this was done in late 2007 before everyone started getting lucky like me. #4: Completing the Warp Zone in Ch5: Rapture named "The Guy!" from the game "Super Meat Boy" probably one of the HARDEST stages that I have ever played in my life. The below video isn't me, but here is someone dying over and over and over on just the FIRST part of the THREE levels. #5: Beating "Mile High Club" on Veteran in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare". Modern Warfare was the first Call of Duty game that I ever played and I started out on Veteran, so it was a challenge to complete. I was very satisfied after getting the achievement ![]() #6: Getting 100% on "Jet Set Radio Future", it is my second favorite game of all time and it wasn't really that hard to unlock all the characters and get everything but being that it's one of my favorite games, I was just happy to get everything on the game. #7: Beating "Demon Souls", I didn't find the game as hard as everyone hyped it up to be but it was pretty challenging, but once you leveled up your character it gets pretty easy. This game is one of my favorite RPG games and I definitely recommend picking it up if you haven't already. #8: Beating "Halo 3" & "Halo: Reach" on Legendary by myself, as well as beating "Gears of War" & "Gears of War 2" on Insane by myself. Not much of a challenge to me but most people prefer to beat the harder difficulties while playing Co-op. #9: Getting some headshots on the #1 ranked person in the world in (I believe) Warzone on "Gears of War" not really a big deal but it's always nice when you get to play against someone who is number 1 in the world, he also had the most headshots. His name was ET Snipers. Probably not number 1 anymore, he used to be on my friend list but not anymore ![]() #10: Getting over 20,000 gamerscore on Xbox Live. Gamerscore may not be a big deal to many people but there was a point in my life where I was an achievement whore. I don't worry too much anymore. But I am close to getting to 30,000 now. So there's my top 10, I'm pretty sure I have some better ones but that's just to get the topic started. Now... it's your turn

I can't think of a top 10, but I can think of a few things that were memorable to me. Unlocking everyone and everything in Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the ps2. Bowling a 300 in Wii Sports bowling. Getting the third(final) ending in The Dark Spire. Completing the post game of Etrian Odyssey. Getting a few hard to get trophies for Super Street Fighter 4, as well as doing most of Adon's combo challenges. Getting 25 kill streaks in Modern Ware 2 and unleashing tactical nukes. Completing certain very difficult post game puzzles in the Professor Layton. games |

My most satisfying gaming moment was beating Zophar in Lunar 2. It wasn't so much THAT I beat him; it was the way in which I beat him. I think I may have been under-leveled when I got to him. I kept dying over and over. It took ever item in my inventory to keep me alive, and I still got my entire party wiped out, except for Lemina. I then had the choice to revive one character or attack. Both were assured death, and I considered just pressing reset. I stared at the screen for a long time and then chose to attack. Holy crap, I won! I was so sure I was doomed. I wish I had gotten it on VHS. |
