In my previous thread, I briefly mentioned the idea of living with some of your favorite YouTubers in the same house. Now I am going to make it a reality. No, I am not going to build a mansion and gather all of the YouTubers there. But, I am going to pretend as if there were a mansion like this. Details are still scare even to me, and I don't want to spoil too much of it yet, but as the title suggests, this is actually an entire project I am going to try working on over a period of time. Now like I said, I am still not completely sure how many of these ideas are going to be used or how exactly they will be implemented yet, but here is the basic concept and main ideas: A large selection of YouTubers (strictly gaming community) will be selected to live inside an imaginary YouTube Mansion of sorts (no, this is not going down the Big Brother route, though it may have BB-esque qualities) and a series of awesome events are going to go down that I will not spoil. Actually, now that I think about it I have a lot of sort of Big Brother ideas that I want to use now. No, no one will be evicted and they won't be isolated from the outside world, but I have some pretty good ideas in my mind. I know what you're thinking: "What, are we supposed to just imagine these guys in a mansion or something? You silly!" Of course not. For this project I plan on writing a blueprint for the entire mansion (and trust me it's huge) and writing a chapter story which will be the highlight of the project. For now I will tell a bit about how this story is going to go. Like I said it will be a chapter story and obviously I will release it by chapters here on this thread. Each chapter will basically be telling of the events that parttake in the mansion (what they play, what they do, the relationships and drama that form, and much more). It may not sound like much now, but trust me guys- there is a lot to look forward to. I will also be taking interesting takes on the big parts of our community. For example, I plan to have All Gen Gamers be a radio show that is recorded in part of the mansion. I must also mention that this mansion is going to be GINORMOUS (it basically has to fit the YouTube gaming community inside it, of course) and one thing that will immediately stand out to you is that the mansion is very technologically advanced. It has some technology that you would never find in reality, that almost all pertains to gaming and some insanely awesome stuff that you would never find in a normal mansion. I will not spoil any of the impressive devices now though, you will have to wait and read the story when it comes out to find that out. Before I get to the final point I want to make, I would like to note that any exaggerations I may make towards anyone in the community are in no way offensive to them, they are merely just to make the story more entertaining You are probably all wondering by this point: "Who exactly is going to be in this mansion? Is there anything I can do to help?" Well, you might not be wondering this, but still. I hope to get you all involved in numerous ways throughout the project (I may ask for any good artists, or photoshop-users to do something, for instance), but for now I only ask one favor of you all: list all of the gamers in the YouTube gaming community that YOU would like to see live in the YouTube Mansion. But, there are a few rules I want you to follow while making this list: 1. Restrict your list to ONLY this gaming community (that means no Let's Players, people from other communities, anyone from the CoD community, and things to that extent- PeteDorr, Gamester81, HappyConsoleGamer, and StephsTooDef are a few examples) 2. Try to stick to the more popular crowd- chances are if you pick a more obscure member of the community I might not know him/her and won't be able to justly portray their character. 3. Try to not list the supporting members of the community. What I mean by that is try not to list the viewers, the people that are just on the forums (unless of course they are also big YouTubers as well), and things like that because I have a special role for you guys later down the line in the story. I already have an enormous list of people in my head, but this is so that I can make sure I don't miss anyone obvious or that a lot of people want mentioned. One last thing: I am not an EXPERT on the community, so I may not know everything about them. For this reason alone, I am going to try to leave out as much of their personal information (family, relationship status, age, job, etc.) as possible, or at least make up some sort of fictional background for them. Good list! I have seen all of their channels aside from Comatose and Buffalo. I would have to check out a few things to see if they would be eligible, but I am pretty sure the rest of them were already going to be there! 
To be honest I've never head of them. I'll have to check them out as well before completely tossing their chances away. xD |

Thanks, but like I said most people that are more forum-goer than they are will have special roles later on in the story, so Andsy will most likely be included. eSkilliam is a definite possibility, however.
Great idea, I could imagine how insane he would be in a mansion full of gaming YouTubers (under his channel's persona of course xD).
Great list! Most of them will probably make it into the roster (PeteDorr, Gamester81, and tvandlust have all already been guaranteed spots), but I still need to check out blkdog, benzo, emureview, and redsouthcity; though unfortunately most of the people I do not yet know of will probably not make the roster for the sole fact that I won't know their personalities very well.
Actually when I was referring to him as "them," I did so in order to not mistake a man for a woman or vice versa, but thanks anyway. |

Alright guys this is the roster I am currently looking at, and what I am leaning on; 1. PeteDorr 2. Gamester81 3. HappyConsoleGamer 4. tvandlust 5. StephsTooDef 6. SplatterTrigger 7. Bigsmilereviews 8. Chipsturs 9. DINKYDANA 10. eSkilliam 11. Jacesfaces 12. jillpoo3 13. lukemorse1 14. xxkomebackkidxx I am also very much considering retrocalypse. The only reason I might not is because he really hasn't posted videos for a long time so he has been out of the community for quite a bit. Do you think I should add him or no? Leave your input! I've also been considering xlovenragex, and maybe StormCloudReigns, but I am unsure. Would you like to see any of these three in the mansion or not? The biggest reason that most of the people that didn't make the cut, well, didn't make the cut, was because I hadn't seen the channel so even if I did go and check the channel out I wouldn't know them well enough to say what they would do. Plus, 14 (possibly 16) people is already extremely hard to work on, let alone fit in a mansion. xD I definitely didn't want to go into the twenties. |
