Hi all, I have been encouraged to register to these forums to ask a question that have been plaguing my mind for over ten years. When I was about 10, I played two very different games, one was a Action RPG, and the other was a Strategy game. I am hoping that someone on these forums has the answer to my single question. And the question is simply this, can you help me remember these games? The information I have about is extremely small and unfortunately I do not remember much about both games. The first is a Action Role Playing Game, (possibly on the PS1 or PS2) and I can barely remember it. All I can remember is a small part of the game. The main character is walking up a metal corridor, ( playing from a top - down perspective ) and turns right, through a door into a round room, inside this room is a boss, and the door locks behind you. When you defeat the boss, the door on the opposite side opens. The game is quite fast paced, with PS1 generation graphics. The second is ( I believe ) a Strategy Game (PS1 or PS2) which you create small villages, and are trying to destroy an opponents village on the opposite side of the map. You have the ability to summon lighting storms, tornadoes and other natural disasters to destroy the enemy. The most distinctive thing about this game that I remember is whenever an action is performed, your characters say " Kar Kar" ( Pronounced "Car" ), and that all the characters wears purple robes. I have been trying to find these games for over ten years, without success. I played both games only briefly, at my cousins house when I was young, and the names of these games have been troubling me since. I'm sorry I cannot offer any more information about the games, as the time that was spent with them was short. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. Noxinecrotic |

What year did you play these games? Should help us eliminate a few more recent titles... |

I believe around 1997-1999, I doubt it was any later than that. It could have been earlier, as the games were not mine and may have been sitting there for a while.

I have no idea about the first game, would need a bit more info than that. The 2nd sounds a bit like Populous: The beginning. Youtube Link Not Exactly like you described but you do conjure the elements via your shaman and they so grunt etc when ordered to do things. |
