All I can say is, is my wife's friend found out I like games and asked me if I wanted her and her brother's old SFC games... I naively said yes. I got dump trucked with probably over a hundred games- all of varying quality to say the least. I remember getting Picross in that collection-- I was really surprised by that game. I played until about half way through non stop for a while. I'd say some of my favorites as of late have to be the Dragon Quest series (especially the remakes).

I have to say though, one of my favorite games for the SFC back in the day was Seiken Densetsu 3. I remember being blown away by it. I had to import it because I lived in America at the time. I remember playing that game for 11 hours straight when it came in the mail! I don't think I've come close to that much video game playing in a day before or since.

Another one I like, although I doubt I'll ever beat it, is Romancing SaGa. There's something SO cool about that game. I got the remake for PS2 but it's just not quite the same... although I think i'd have a better chance at beating that one.

How are you enjoying your megaman games by the way? I remember getting Megaman X for my birthday when it came out and totally loving it. It totally took the series to a new level. Graphically it blew away the famicom games. In retrospect, however, I think I like the famicom games better. I still have a soft spot for the original X though. After that everything started getting a little too extreme for my taste.

That's cool. What are your favorite megaman games? To be honest I kind of stopped at the playstation. I never really got into all the gameboy advance games either. Since I stopped, I feel like there are just a billion megaman games. I don't know whether or not to get back in or just beat all the old ones and wait for a really good new one to come out.

the Zero series is great, if you have a DS i would highly recommend Mega Man Zero Collection

all four of the mega man zero games in 1 DS card

also ZX and ZX advent are good for the DS

the battle network and starforce are action RPGS and different from the normal mega man series

my favorite mega man games are X4 (ps1) 6 (NES) 5 (NES) and the entire Zero series (GBA/DS)

Wow! I just looked it up and apparently they have the zero collection in Japan as well. Believe it or not, but the Megaman Collection as well as the Megaman X collection was never released in Japan. I always looked for those when I went out shopping, now I know why I could never find them haha. I just searched for the Megaman Gameboy collection as well, but apparently it was cancelled years ago. It was supposed to come out for the GBA. I would've loved that game!

I'm gonna try to beat all the games in the core series and maybe move on to the X series eventually. I've only beaten 1, 2, 3, 5 and X1, 2, and 3 and 2 (for the gameboy). I have to admit though, the zero series was always the most alluring of the newer games. Having them all on one DS cart would be cool, but I'd like to play them on the TV with the gameboy player. Do you know if the sound was improved on the move to the DS? I'll keep an eye out for those games from now on. Thanks for the tips!

No sorry i dont know about the sound. the plus side to having the DS collection is they're all on one cart the down side you cant use it to fight the Zero 3 and Zero 4 bosses on ZX it requires the GBA versions for that and like you said you cant play them on your TV with the gameboy player if you get the DS version

also its going to be a lot easier to find the DS collection rather than the GBA games
