I'm not sure if anyone on this forum cares or actually pays attention to this topic, but if you do, that's great. On the thread, you can discuss your thoughts and opinions on the State of the Union Address. It is currently going on right now so I will update this topic later today or tomorrow. So far, the speech is incredibly interesting.

I felt that Obama touched on along of important things in this speech. I really liked how he emphasized education in the field of engineering and math. Those fields lead to innovation the most. Entrepreneurship was also a chief focus. He mentioned examples including Facebook and Google showing that great ideas come from this country. That is just some of my brief thoughts on the speech. Writing all of my opinions and thoughts would take hours. :D

I'm currently taking MicroEconomics and my professor can't stress enough that education, specifically in Math & Engineering, leads to more innovations and economic improvement. I didn't end up watching the State of the Union Address, however it's reassuring that our President is taking the steps needed to continue to build economic growth.
