I love how the original Final Fantasy VI (3 US) could be glitched using Relm and her Sketch ability to get random items and change items around in your inventory. I had a game save where I glitched it once and ended up with 2 Atma weapons. Lock could "one round" Kefka using the Offering Relic (X-Attack) and 2 Atma (Ultima) Swords. |

I remember doing that one. It was one of those things that you heard about back then and were like "NO WAY!". I tried it out and realized it was indeed "WAY!!!". I was lucky though. I looked it up on the internet since then and apparently it can be the kiss of death to your save files. I've also heard that it doesn't work at all on later printings of the game-- as are the cases with a lot of that game's glitches. Incidentally, I've heard that the Japanese version of the game has even more glitches than the US version, if you can believe that. I never did check it out on the Japanese version... I don't remember if I checked any glitches on the PS version, and I've never played the GBA version. Does anyone remember all the General Leo rumors from back in the day? If I remember correctly, you could kind of keep him in your party indefinately and sneak out of the camp, or whatever it was. I think you could like wander the world. I don't think you could progress through the story though as you had to kind of let that situation run its course (using kind of ambiguous wording to avoid any spoilers) before moving on. I also remember the 'auto level' trick... I don't think it could be categorized as a glitch though. I doubt it was intentional either. Did you guys ever hear about how you can like keep going in circles in the raft sequence and set "memory" in the menu options and tape certain buttons down on your controllers and go to bed and be at like level 60 or something the next morning? I never got my buttons to tape down correctly, but I remember falling asleep while holding down those buttons for a couple of hours to see that it was for real. Looking back I don't see the point though as you wouldn't get any important bonuses from espers at that point in the game. I remember the Secret of... games having quite a few interesting glitches as well. I played a lot of Evermore back when I was younger and remember seeing a couple of strange things. I don't remember any more though. |

I like the one in Tony Hawk's Underground(the gamecube version) where in the Manhatten level if you run into one specific part of one of the buildings it allows you to ride around inside any building that is connected to the glitched building! |
