So I had a little free time and was scrolling up and down the forums..and was wondering what everyone's first game was. So all you got to do is say your first game, and give your impressions on that game. I'll go first.

My first game was Super Mario 64.
Super Mario 64 is a great game from start to end. The level design was amazing at it's time. The enemies were also very well made. I guess I'm having a little trouble explaining my first game because it overwhelmed me, and I haven't played it in quite a while. But I guess that dosen't really matter..because i dont't really know a single person that's never played or at least seen this game.

Have Fun Postin'. ^_^

I had an Atari and Commodore 64 but can only vaguely remember playing them.

Think it was Q-Bert and some boxing game on the Atari I played a lot.

Commodore 64 was Aliens(I loved it but never got anywhere in it haha) and Rambo which I never got past the first level. Other game would be a football game.

The first game I truly remember playing and thinking was completely amazing was Sonic 1 and Outrun.

I got an NES for my birthday...it came with Duck Hunt, Super Mario Brothers, and some Track and Field game and included the gun and the running pad and all that stuff.

I think I played either duck hunt or super mario first...I can't really remember...played those two games to death though, took like another year until my parents bought me another game lol.

The first game i ever played was definetly on the amiga, im not sure which game though, prob rick dangerous or shadow of the beast. Possibly even the batman game. It was around '88-'89 anyway.

The first game i owned was Fatal Run i think, on the atari 2600. A later 2600 game, actually looks just as good as i remember. For the 2600 anyway. i played it for hours but it still felt a bit crap next to the amiga games i'd played, the sound would drive me nuts.

Mine my first game ever was Golden Axe on the Sega Genesis back in 1995(?). I'm aware it came out six years earlier, however that's the first one I can recall playing without a doubt. That game is still fun as anything, and I still actually play it with my dad from time to time. That game will never age, and I just love it.

I got a whole mess of NES games all at once with my NES but some of the first I remember played were The legend of Zelda, Super Mario 3 and Megaman 3. Great games that are still fun.

Pokemon Crystal on my bright green gamboy color. I got it for Christmas and I beat it the next day. Because of the abnormal amount of free time I had in my kindergarten years, when I got home from school I grinded the elite for until I had all six of my party pokemon to lvl. 100. Great game that obviously intrigued my young mind.

I think my first game was Alex Kidd built into the Master System 2, but i'm unsure if I had a Commodore before then.

Off topic - I love your avatar Scruffy, i've actually been working my way through some 80's Sooty Show recently :P

My first game was Donkey Kong Jr. on the Colecovision. I started playing it with my brother sometime around 1983 and we were properly obsessed with it for years after that. I also played the original Donkey Kong and Zaxxon, but I have the fondest memories of DK Jr.

Now that I've said it, I really miss my Colecovision. I had some great times with that dinosaur of a console.

The first system I ever remember owning was an Atari 2600 for Christmas. I even remember the three games my parents bought for it. Those games were:

Yars Revenge
Space Invaders
Pac-Man

I think the first game I've played out of those three was definitely space invaders.

I remember playing Sonic and Knuckles at Summer Camp on the computer in 2003. First time I ever played a game, and I loved it! I was so happy to see Sonic Advance 2 and a GameBoy Advance a few weeks later! Made my birthday! ^^
