Generally I favor snipers and shotguns. Basically the two ends of the spectrum, long-range & close-range, haha. Favorite gun from any fps though.. Hmmm. It's a tough question but I'll have to go with the portal gun from Portal. Edited by Kiamberm, Feb 3 2011, 10:52 PM.

It would have to be between... The chainsaw and shotgun from doom, the shotgun has the best reloading sound ever. The fireball spitting monster head in samurai showdown. When you change the firing style his fingers move in the back of its brain. That was just amazing when it was released. The RCP-90 In goldeneye. Enemies=Butter Gonna say the Shotgun in doon though, that gun has brought many a smile on my face. |

I generally like semi-automatic or bolt action rifles from world war two games. I like picking out my targets and plucking away at them, and with the semi automatic ones like the Garand I can dish out enough fire power if I really need. |

Hands down the best FPS weapon is the Disc Launcher/Spinfusor from Tribes series. It could do it all, from dueling, mid airs, spamming, mine-disc & disc jump. There's has been nothing quite as satisfying as landing a mid air from 50 meters away, pure bliss. |

I really love pretty much any weapon in Borderlands...especially assault rifles with Poisoning properties...that's just amazing. I also love the Pistol in BioShock 1. Once you get that thing fully upgraded, it's unstoppable! |

I'm a pretty big sniper fan, my favorites are the Longshot from Gears of War 1 and the R700 from CoD4. Oh and any of the Total War/Colors weapons from Conker's Bad Fur Day. In my opinion, the premier N64 shooter. Edited by DizzyDial, Feb 13 2011, 06:49 PM.
