If you were deserted on an island, what ten video games would you bring?

 RULES!!: no downloading games, this can be for all systems.

10. pokemon BLACK/WIGHT its finally time to catch them all.

9. elder scrolls 4: oblivion, time to discover everything!!!!

8. earthbound: time to kick giygas ass all over again!

7. Harvest Moon: boy & girl: im gonna get married, raise a ton of crops, fish, mine, Ect.

6. Final Fantasy 9: time too spend time with cherecters that dont sigh every ten seconds (i'm looking at you final fantasy 7).

5.Fallout 3: i'm gonna kill EVERYTHING!!!

4. Zelda: majors mask ( probably spelled wrong) threee dayyys.....thrrreeeee dayyyyssss....

3. Sims 3: might as well live someone elses life if I cant live mine....

2. Harvest Moon another wonderful life: i just need two harvest moon games to keep me happy!

1. Grand Theft Auto IV: lets go apes**t and drive a ar of a bulding

so what games would you want with you on a deserted island? it can be for any system! see ya!

8. Final Fantasy IX - Love all three of these equally. Simply my favorite RPG's
7. Persona 3 - So many possibilities and endings, I think this will keep me busy for a while
6. Nocturne - Basically, anything Shin Megami Tensai is pretty cool, but this one takes the cake
5. Metal Gear Solid
4. Metal Gear Solid 2
3. Metal Gear Solid 3
4. Metal Gear Solid 4 - Yep, MGS marathon on a deserted Island = WIN
3. Oddworld: Abe's Escape
2. Oddworld: Abe's Exodus: Love these too... tons of secrets.
1. Pokemon Red - Speaking of secrets, this one has to be the king of secret/glitchy content. So much stuff packed in here it's so much fun

 The one thing I don't get, is why any one would want so many from the same series or genre. If you are stuck on a deserted island with these games, you're probably going to want some variety in your games. xD

In no particular order,

1. Pokemon Black/White (Nintendo DS) - Not much to say here, really. :D
2. Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) - Definitely need to relive the life I'll never have again.
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops (360) - Need some FPS action and this is the best way to go as of now, plus I can play with my friends.
4. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) - Gonna need my platforming fix and what better way.
5. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360) - Haven't really gotten into this yet, but I figure this could last me a while and there is a ton to do. I would choose Fable II instead, but I know that wouldn't last me near as long.
6. World of Warcraft (PC) - I haven't even PLAYED this game, but since I am going to be stuck on a deserted island I am going to need an endless game that is getting updated a good amount and that could last me quite a while, so I figure this would be the most logical way to go.
7. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GCN) - Just an excellent game
8. Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition (Saturn) - Need some sort of puzzle game and this should keep me satisfied for quite a while.
9. Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (DS) - Gotta have a great handheld RPG to walk around the island with and what better way to go than Dragon Quest IX?
10. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) - Pure awesome and I could battle over Wi-Fi as well.

I know I contradicted my own theory at the top of this post by posting so many RPG's, but I seriously couldn't think of many others I'd rather choose, plus they vary very much from each other in gameplay and I am sure I could come up with a much more solid list if I actually sat down thinking about what ten games I should bring going into solitary confinement on an island, but ya know this list is still pretty good for my tastes.

lol that's very true, but I figured I'd rather have 3 complete series and 3 Games, rather then 1 installment of a series where I'll be forever wondering how it ended or what will happen next.

 10. Little Big Planet 2- Infinite games in one!
9. Wii Fit- A guy has to stay in shape and watch his weight!
8. Super Mario 64- Classic 3D mario, doesn't get much better than this
7. Gran Turismo 5- Obsessive car collecting, I could spend all my time collecting every car, then spend time enjoying them in all the different tracks
6. Dragon Quest IX- just getting into this now but it feels like it has a lot of replay value and a wonderful story
5. Super Mario Galaxy- I can always fun exploring this world
4. Super Mario World- so many secrets to unlock and the gameplay is Mario 2D at its finest
3. World of Warcraft- This world is always changing and always a lot of fun
2. Demon's Souls- I would take my time to perfect the game, playing it over and over again. Love having games with New Game +
1. Chrono Trigger- I can play it over and over again. See differnet endings, the story and gameplay never get old

 Ok, i always find these hard as i change my mind right afterwards haha.

1. Toejam and earl 2:panic on funkatron. MD/Gen
2. Streets of rage 2. MD/Gen
3. Elder Scrolls:Morrowind. PC
4. Fallout 2. 360
5. Fallout 3. 360
6. Fallout:New Vegas. 360
7. Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater Ps2
8. Commandos 2:Men of Courage PC
9. Rick Dangerous double Pack Amiga
10. Age of wonder 1 PC

rick dangerous is cheating a bit as its 2 games, but could survive with just the first game. Was gonna say the mega cd arcade collection which has 6 megadrives titles on it but i thought that would be cheating too much haha.



Edit: Also, would like sims 2 but only if i could have all the add-ons. such a time wasting game, its brilliant.

Strip the Flesh, salt the wound!

 Obviously I'm gonna need some games that will either last a long time, or a game that can't be beat.

In no particular order:

01. Tetris: My favorite game of all time and I can play it anytime.

02. Fallout 3: I'll finally get a chance to beat it.

03. Pokemon: Couldn't pick which one I'd take with me, but I'll have the time to catch all the Pokemons.

04. Littlebigplanet 2: Infinite number of fun, enjoyable games.

05. Any Civilization Game: I freaking love those games.

06. Guitar hero Metallica: Metallica is one of my favorite bands ever.

07. The latest Fifa game: I absolutely love soccer/football.

08. Super Mario All-Stars(The one that includes Super Mario World): 5 of the best games of all time in one.

09. The Sims 3: The best way to waste time.

10. Tekken 3: My favorite fighting game ever.

 10. Oblivion IV - It has a huge world to explore.
9. Fallout 3 - same as above.
8. Dark Cloud - It is just a fun game that I have played through a few times and I never get bored with it.
7. Resident Evil 2... My favorite RE game and I love it.
6. Final Fantasy Tactics - An awesome game.
5. Sonic Adventure Battle 2 - I have to take care of my chao....
4. Zelda: Wind Waker - May not be the best Zelda game but I love the world and exploration in it.
3. Minecraft - this game has unlimited replay value.
2. Final Fantasy IX - My favorite game of all time.
1. Pokemon Heart Gold - I played through the original gold many times and I have played through heart gold 2 times so far. It is a game I could play through many more times as well.

 10. Fallout 3: GotY
This game stole well over 200 hours of my life, and I still play it even after getting the Platinum trophy. That's a testament to how great it is.

9. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
I enjoy timing myself on the stages and seeing how fast I can get through them. Also, playing as Super Sonic is AMAZING in this game, I love it!

8. Panzer Dragoon: Orta
Another one of those score games, I like to try to beat my high scores, and this game is great for that.

7. Kingdom Hearts
Probably my favorite Action-Adventure RPG in recent years. I have played this game so many times, I could probably tell you the location of every Dalmatian Puppy...

6. Mega Man Legends 2
It takes forever to complete this game 100%, and it's one of my favorite games of all time. Of COURSE I'm gonna take it with me to a desert island!

5. Mega Man Legends
This was my first experience with Mega Man after the Classic series...and what a journey it was.

4. Mega Man II
This game is my favorite of all time. My NES probably died because of how much I played this game. Good thing I have a new one!

3. Pokemon Gold
My favorite of the Pokemon games. It has sentimental value also. My dad bought it for me shortly after a loss in the family...it got me through those tough times.

2. Pokemon Blue
It's just classic, and I grew up with it. Also, it's the only Pokemon game that I have vowed to catch all of the Pokemon in...some day...

1. World of Warcraft
Truth be told, I have never in my life, played WoW, but if I was stuck on an island, I'd want to have this with me, as it's constantly getting updates and new content...I feel like it's a smart decision, haha.

2. Super Mario RPG

3. Suikoden 1

4. Suikoden 2

5. FFIX

6. Xenogears

7. Grandia 1

8. Skies of Arcadia

9. Chrono Cross

10. Phantasy Star IV... or FFVI. Can't choose.

I'm sure some of these will change once I sink my teeth into different games but right now, these are safe bets.
