Hmmm...let's see: Atari VCS/2600 => Bobby Is Coming Home Gruelling game, but pretty addictive back then NES => Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt Mario blew my mind back then, a truly one of a kind experience. These were really the only few games I had for it back then. Much, MUCH later I got Zelda II. Game Boy => next to the pack-in game Tetris, I first got Super Mario Land Still love this game to this very day. Funny enough this game felt a lot longer when I was younger, nowadays I could finish this game in a heartbeat. Super NES => Super Mario World I was so hyped for this game, but I guess you could also say that for the next game (SM64). I know it was a pack-in game, but it was the mostly the only game I had, untill I got Super Ghouls'n'Ghosts a few months later Game Boy Color => Zelda; Link's Awakening DX Just so I could play the new color dungeon and because I adored this game! Nintendo 64 => Super Mario 64 Obsessed, I guess that is the word I could use for this game and the state of mind I was in. It probably was about the last game that got me all pumped over the release of a a new console. Playstation => Final Fantasy VII This really was an out-of-body experience for me. I played this non-stop with a minimal amount of sleep and I still love it equally when I play it again right now. Game Boy Advance => F-Zero: Maximum Velocity Okay game, nothing spectacular Gamecube => Luigi's Mansion Loved it that one time, but never really got back into it. A nice introduction to the capabilities of the GC, but it certainly wasn't a SM64-beater! Wii => Mario Kart Wii Still one of the best game to start you Wii collection with IMO. Played it to death. Playstation 2 => Zone of Enders I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the fast-paced and ultra sharp graphics of this game. Liked it a lot! Playstation 3 => Metal Gear Solid IV It took a while before I even bought a game for the PS3. I mainly used it as a Blu-Ray player. And I loaned some games from my brother. MGS4 was really the only game worth buying in the first period IMO Nintendo DS => Wario Touched! Okay game, can't say it made a big impression PSP => God of War - Chains of Olympus Actually the first God of War game I'd ever played. Really WOW-ed me with the amazing graphics....showing off what the PSP could do! Xbox 360 => Gears of War My first experience with HD gaming. Totally awesome game...great first game for this system!
