I just went to visit the My Gamer Card website and unfortunately it seems they are shutting down. I see a few users here use their service in their signature here.
A farewell message has been posted on the website:
A Moment of Silence for MyGamerCard

I think it is because lately Xbox.com has been changed around quite a bit (they've changed the way the gamercard looks and the way achievements are listed). This affected MyGamerCard.net because it used to get the information from Xbox.com to update everyone's gamercard but because Xbox.com has been through some changes.

The same thing happened over at TrueAchievements.com. When these changes on Xbox.com were made, the "scanners" broke and had to be taken offline whilst a fix was been worked on. Fortunately for them they managed to fix the issue so that TA.com would work with the new changes on Xbox.com.

Yeah, the rising out of pocket expenses for the site owner coupled with a lack of support from Microsoft killed the whole operation. I think it's sad because it was the only reliable gamercard program and it updated almost instantaneously, whereas the portable ID for the PS3 is garbage. At the end of the day, it only served as "bling" for your signature and a way to show off your gamerscore, but I liked it.

Yeah it is sad because I've had to delete my gamer card from a few forums already and now some of my signatures look pretty bland as a result.
