I'm not the biggest Zelda fan in the world, so maybe it's just me who doesn't understand, but I really don't know what you want from us here. Give more info and maybe your thread will get more responses.

it is the most confusing gaming time line "story wise" if you watch a person take on the time line it will still be a little bit confusingyoutube.com

It is always interesting listening to people's takes on the timeline though many have to realize Nintendo does not care. They didn't have it in mind when making the games and that is extremely clear based on the responses by Miyamoto and Nintendo. Essentially we are debating our own overglorified fan interpretations on something that was probably never meant to be thought about in the first place.

That said, I still love hearing people talk about it. Lots of people put a ton of time into it and maybe too much at times ;).

In a realm beyond sight.
The sky shines gold,not blue.
There,the triforce's might
Make mortal dreams come true.

Check out this interview with Aonuma. He confirms there's a timeline.

Ds Games!

I can say for certain that spirit tracks comes after phantom hourglass which comes after wind waker. That's about all I know on the subject.

I feel that it goes a little something like this, and this is just my opinion, just saying. But here it goes:

Skyward Sword
Minish Cap
Four Swords
Four Swords Adventures
Ocarina of Time

Line A
Wind Waker
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
The Legend of Zelda
The Adventure of Link

Line B
Majora's Mask
Twilight Princess
A Link to the Past
Oracle of Seasons
Oracle of Ages
Link's Awakening

If anyone has a problem with this I'd love to talk about it. ^_^

with zelda games i like to take every game as brand new adventure if i focus on where the timeline is id probaly give myself a headache lol. they are starting from the very beginning once again with skyward sword just take each game as its own brand new adventure and you wont go wrong :) [linkspin]
