New User Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #3,434 Joined: Feb 15, 2011	hi i thought it would be kind of fun to talk about which games you have been the most addicted too. i start off my saying mine. its might be a suprise but its metal gear online. i was playing every day, all day for months. of course i play a hell of alot of call of duty and halo. and my cod addiction is probably more than metal gear but i thought it would be a weird one. addiction sounds so bad sorry

I like to play game's like Call of Duty and such. But one addicting game I can't seem to stop playing when I start it is the Fire Emblem series. Very good series.

Haven't touched the game in years, but it wasn't a joke that I was addicted. I recently started playing DC Universe online and zoomed to max level on my first character in 3 days. It made me realize that MMOs aren't for me. I can't control myself so I just quit that game and that is that for MMOs.

Everytime I start playing it again it really gets me hooked...it's also probably the only FF game where I've done everything en got to level 99. (oh...and FFIX too, didn't get to level 99 though). Also Pokemon back when I had the red, blue en yellow version.

Wasted to much time on that game. If I added all of my accounts playtime through all of the games I think it would come out to be like 40-60 days worth of gametime in the CoD series and 20-30 of that was just on CoD4. Though My favorite games are RPG's I just got so addicted to Cod for some reason.

When I first got a Xbox 360 w/ Xbox Live I rented Gears of War 5 times before I actually bought a copy. I played the online so much that my cousin and I played for 17 hours straight one day. DC Universe Online was also one of the games I was really addicted to, but after you reach level 30, the Hard Mode alerts, Duos and Raids start to get boring because you do the same thing every day so I don't really play it as much anymore.

Run! Posts: 1,434 Group: Members Member #1,313 Joined: Oct 10, 2009	Well... The original Pokemon Games, i played alot of WoW (but was never really ADDICTED). My most addicting game of all time (actually my only addiction in my whole life i can think of), happens to also be one of my favourite games of all time; LotRO (Lord of the Rings Online). Me, being a huge fan of the Universe Tolkien created, i was just hooked. It was really similiar to WoW, from the user interface to the combat system, but i found it to be way better. You could walk trough huge maps with some excellent graphics, and you could go to alot of places you saw in the movie. To walk trough the whole map took about.. 4-5 hours? I stopped playing it, mainly because i switched to a Mac, but i'd love one day to pick that game up again. Edited by Overtimee, Mar 8 2011, 06:18 AM.

Level 3 Posts: 143 Group: Members Member #1,936 Joined: Apr 20, 2010	The games that hold the biggest addiction factor to me is definitely Blast Corps. There is something about Blast Corps that just keeps me wanting to play it. I think its due to the fact that it has one of the hardest completionist challenge by getting all the platinum medals. I just love a lot of the strict time attack elements in the game and it is a game that I can play at any time. Another game I'm addicted to is Bangai-O spirits. The game is easy to pick up and play and with over 150 levels and some of them can be beaten in seconds, its an easy game to play anywhere even if its for a spare 5 minutes.

Posts: 3,129 Group: Moderator Member #511 Joined: Apr 6, 2009	As of the past few years when I started playing games again, I have to say for multiplayer purposes its been Bad Company 2 and Super Street Fighter 4, and for Single player games it's Been The Dark Spire, a game I played every day, a lot.

On several occasions I've sat down for a leisurely 15 minute game and before I know it I've been playing the same level for three hours trying to clear every last peg. The Civilization games are absurdly addictive, I find. Look-up-and-realize-it's-suddenly-4:00-AM style addicting. And Animal Crossing! Back in the day I would do everything that I could possibly do on a given day, but continue to stalk about my town, shaking every tree, shoveling every rock.
