SEGA SATURN GAMES SHOULD BE ON VIRTUAL CONSOLE; On VC there are 3 generations of retro Nintendo consoles, so why not 3 generations of retro Sega consoles?

We already have Sega Genesis and Sega Master System games on the Wii Virtual Console, so why not Saturn games.

If they are added one day lets hope to see these titles and more:
Space Harrier
Virtua Fighter
Virtua Fighter 2
Virtua Fighter Kids
Virtua Racing
Daytona USA
and so much more there are so many great SATURN games i just cant list them all

Truthful and the right answer to your question: because Sega Saturn is hard to emulate...

There are no fully working emulators for the Sega Saturn. Pretty sure we'd all like it, but at the moment it's just not physically possible.

Yes, but I doubt it will happen for obvious reasons unfortunately. :(

The Saturn was such a stupidly designed system. I can't imagine what on earth the engineers that designed that MotherBoard were on when they conceived it. 2 CPU's and 6 Processors in 1995 meaning programmers had to write in Assembly? wow. (And anyone here who programs would know how fiddly Assembly is even in comparison to C)

The Saturn looks like a great system to play (I really want one actually!), but imagine how the tides may have turned in Sega's favour if they weren't completely crazy around that period (32X, Rushing the Saturn out, this design and so on..).

By the way i'd love to have a saturn style Dreamcast controller for MVC2

oh and btw they could actually do most of the games you mentioned i suppose as they look like they appear on 32X or genesis in a few cases.. I don't know much about 32X emulation though

I'm totally in for it, since i have never played ANY game on it, so it would be cool to try out games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Nights, ...

I never got the hang of using a saturn controller fully. I would be up for playing saturn games with a controller i'm more familiar with :P

As much as I love to dream, this is some heavy wishful thinking.. The Saturn is hardly emulated close to 100%, let alone many of the games people would want to be made available are huge, spanning multiple discs (Panzer Saga, for instance).. I'm going with a resounding "No". Just buy a Saturn instead, the systems are cheap.. Or maybe other developers will follow suit of Treasure and recreate their older games from scratch instead of relying on emulation (the impending Guardian Heroes and Radiant Silvergun remakes come to mind).

Yeah that would be totally cool. I have always wanted a Saturn as a kid. As for Emulation I think it runs quite good on my System, I can't base it on playing the actually system but It doesn't lag or slow down at all for me. I would still like a way for buying the actually games. Sure there's Ebay but I'm not sure how reliable the systems are so I don't feel like paying 50 plus.

Wii games on VC (if I'm correct) can only be up to 50 mbs in size. I can't see this working...

I think they should because there are so many Saturn games I want to play. Especially Panzer Dragoon Saga. But fucking SEGA....They had to "loose" the freaking game code. How do you lose a game's code. Now if I want to buy and play that game(which I do), I have to cut off an arm and a leg to get it!!!! ^o)
