All you really need to do is stop being nervous. If you're a gamer, you should always be enthusiastic when it comes to talking about games. Let people know just how much you love it. I think your channel and videos will begin shining once you get past the nervousness.

You seem a little nervous when you start off a video then usually warm up to the camera towards the end. Just keep making videos and I think that will work itself out. |

Not to thread hi-jack, but I'd also lie to to get some constructive criticism to my channel as well! |

helsinkirocks: You seem comfortable, I would just keep going at it, maybe work on sound, it sounded a bit low quality. Look into a Snowball USB maybe, I have one I got for 40 bux and it sounds really professional. Subscribed! |

Andy: I won't repeat what's been said, but maybe trying plotting out a review episode or something and do videos like that once in a while. I love pickup videos and whatnot as much as the rest, but I usually don't bother unless I already enjoy the channel. So mix it up a bit is my advice and keep going! |

@Andysgamelounge All technical advice, since performance advice has already been given. You are doing good, but when you are in front of the camera you were rather quiet, so I would suggest either talk louder, or see if you can boost your volume. The second thing, and I bring this up to most people, is lighting. When you are in front of the camera, get some more light in front of you and slightly less behind. also when filming the consoles and games, a little more light wouldn't hurt. One last thing also, if you don't have some way to focus your camera, then don't go in for the close shots on games. They get all blurry. Other than that, great job so far. @helsinkirocks Your stuff looks good for the most part, but your sound sounds a bit like you are in a box. I would also recommend some microphone work for you. (someone mentioned the snowball, and I totally agree. That mic is amazing, but might hurt the wallet a bit) Otherwise for you I would just say keep looking for little ways to improve quality in your video and sound, I think you have the rest under wraps. @both It was mentioned earlier that variety wins on youtube. This is true. Spice up your channel some by switching up what kind of videos you do, but never do something you really aren't into. If all someone enjoys doing is pickups then then they should do just that. But if you want more viewers, you have to appeal to everyone. Feel yourself out, and above all have fun. We aren't in the big leagues here, so if it isn't fun then there's really no reason to do it. Enjoy yourselves. |
