I hope this is a helpful suggestion for playing older pc games from the 80's and 90's on newer pc's running XP or Win7. I am using Microsoft Virtual PC. This is a free program from Microsoft that allows you to run multiple Windows environments such as Win XP, Win 98, Win 95, Win 3.11, Dos, etc. from within your pc operating system I have copies of Win 95, Win 98, DOS and Win 3.11 that I am using through Virtual PC. This allows me to run older games such as the old Sierra games like King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest and the many other games they have made. I remember playing the 7th Guest pc game back in the day. I can now play this again. I hope I still get the goosebumps and chills from this game that I used to. I hope this is helpful! Brian |

Oh that's a great idea. I use a Windows XP Virtual PC on my Windows 7 Machine and it works flawlessly. I will have to try it out with the older Windows sometime |

I have been using this for a while. I plan on developing my own Virtual Machine software in the future. Although if you have the money, I recommend purchasing VMWare Fusion, it is an awesome Virtual Machine emulator and runs incredibly faster than Microsoft Virtual PC. That is only if you have the money though. |
