Games You Want Re-Released

West End Wombat Posts: 549 Group: Members Member #161 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	What games would you like to see from the past, either re-released on something like Steam, such as old PC games that would be a hassle for some to get running on a modern pc, or games with a slight graphical update made available on Wii (Pikmin, Metroid Prime 1 & 2), PS3 (like all the PS2 games gettin remade) or Xbox 360 (the rumored Halo update, BG&E)? personally i would like to see these games: Thief 1 & 2 (rereleased on Steam or GoG) never got to play them and i hear im missing out on a lot System Shock 1 & 2 (Steam or GoG) same reason as Thief Full Throttle, Grim Fandango (graphic update for XBLA, PSN, Steam) What LucasArts did with the Monkey Island games was badass, i would like to see it done to the rest of their adventure games MGS Collection (for PS3) never got to beat all of them and with a graphic update they would be badass Halo 1 & 2 (Xbox 360 or XBLA) Halo 2 is my favorite game of all time and i loved the original, would love to be able to revisit both with a graphic remake, plus if 1 had online it would awesome cause it had my favorite maps of the Halo series Now what games do u want?

If they wanted, they could even patch it so you had the option of Standard Controls (Dualshock, 360) or Motion controls (Move, Kinect). That game would be downright beautiful in HD. Also, Shenmue.

I don't really know how much HD would do for Okami. The style works just as well in it's current form (plus as someone said: it's been re-made for Wii) The OG Halo would be great. And I agree with the Shenmue series, whilst adding better character control and faster running or a bicycle or something to speed the game up.

I would love HD upgrades for these, especially for MGS2, since MGS3 is already getting kind of an upgrade for the 3DS. There are already strong rumours that there will be a MGS Trilogy HD release (like the God of War Collection)...and I'm almost sure it will happen. But I wonder....will they take the Gamecube version of MGS (Twin Snakes) and upgrade that?? We'll see!

3DS Posts: 1,580 Group: Members Member #1,218 Joined: Sep 5, 2009	Dragon Warrior 4 NES on Virtual Console (DS remake just doesn't feel right) System Shock series on GOG or Steam Terranigma on Virtual Console Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PSP, updated with Bass, 9, and 10 Mega Man X Collection for PSP Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for PSP, updated with Sword of Vermillion (that was removed from the previous compilation to this one) Lunar 1 & 2 PS1 remakes (Sega CD versions would be super nice too) on Playstation Store Etrian Odyssey trilogy on WiiWare with updated visuals, extra dungeons, etc.

If you're interested, there was going to be a Timesplitters 4. Heres the info off of Wikipedia: TimeSplitters 4 (TBA): This game was in development for almost a year but since Free Radical was bought out by Crytek after going into administration, little information has been released since. As of August 17 2009, the project has officially been declared as on hold. In a recent interview, Crytek UK claimed that they would continue the project once there is a high industry demand for such a game So it doesn't look good now since it was put on hold almost 2 years ago. While the current developer has focused on making Crysis 2.
