Getting into the DB Burst Limit series; How does it compare to budokai?

The Virtual Boy Gamer Posts: 637 Group: Members Member #2,012 Joined: May 16, 2010	For a while, my favorite DBZ game series was the Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi series. It's a really fun series of games based on the DB/DBZ/DBGT series. Lately, I was thinking of purchasing games from the Dragonball Burst Limit series. I haven't heard much about the series, so I was wondering if anyone who has played the series can give a description about it? And, if so, how does it compare to Budokai?

Level 4 Posts: 374 Group: Members Member #3,159 Joined: Dec 19, 2010	First of all Burst Limit isn't a series. It's a standalone game. Second from what I've heard it doesn't compare to the Budokai series at all. Byt try the Raging Blast series. While there are complaints of the camera, I hear it's a decent fighter.

Can't really comment on how it compares to the Budokai series because I played those games a long long long long time ago.

Game Chasers are a bunch of cucks Posts: 978 Group: Members Member #3,326 Joined: Jan 21, 2011	I play DB raging blast 2 over my friends house and have alot of fun DBRB2 is completely different from DBBL although if your getting tired of the dbz story and playing or watching it over and over again from playing these games try RB2 It has a mission mode for thoose how just want to unlock characters and play the game If I had to compare it to something I say it's sorta like glaciate conquest in star wars battlefront because on side note you can enhance your characters with new special ablatives and online play is included Edited by leonk4, Apr 3 2011, 01:41 PM.

West End Wombat Posts: 549 Group: Members Member #161 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	i enjoyed Burst Limit, if your looking for insane character rosters, go with Raging Blast 1 or 2, Burst Limit only goes up to the Cell Saga, with some special characters like Bardock and Broly thrown in. Also the gameplay is more like the original Budokais and not Budokai Tenkaichi as it is a 3D fighter, not an over the should camera style
