I know console game collecting is big, but I feel the history of PC tell a huge story. If anyone has a big PC collection I would love to see it and I would like to hear others opinions on this. Personally I think the only way PC game collecting is coming is digitally. Threw programs like steam and what not. |

I love PC gaming, but yeah it is all going digital now, not really a bad thing though. With Blizzard games, you can put your serial numbers into Battle.NET then download any of your games onto any computers you want! |

Pretty much all digital for me in this realm now. I buy PC games periodically, but everything is on steam for me. The exception will be The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition, which looks to be the best collector's edition in the history of video games. Edited by Richard, Apr 8 2011, 01:45 PM.

I have more physical PC games than digital. My internet isn't the greatest either, plus I like actually owning the game so I don't waste bandwidth downloading it. Shame they are doing away with the manuals though, I used to like reading them. |

The problem with PC gaming is that the hardware requirements vary from game to game and not everyone is able to meet them. That's not to say that every game requires you to have a top-of-the-line, tricked-out gaming PC, but many do and this turns people off. Consoles are generally more affordable, easier to use for many people and you can be assured that any game purchased will work. The PC definitely has it's place in gaming, but consoles are definitely a better option for many people.

Most games I've found in past couple of years can be run on machine 3-4 years old. Plus some of the games are 10-20$ cheaper on PC, at least here in Canada. |
