Though I don't have one, but I have played one numerous times, I'd say the Neo Geo, because it had superior graphics and superior sound. I know graphics and sound don't mean anything, but the reason why I picked the Neo Geo is because there wasn't one bad game for the system! Even the SNES and Genesis had their share of bad games! But don't worry, I still love the SNES and Genesis and TurboGrafx-16! |

I voted for the TurboGrafx-16 because its one of my all time favorites. The SHMUP library on the console is enough reason alone to own the system. Also with games like Bonk, Neutopia, Bloody Wolf, and Splatterhouse its hard to overlook this underrated system.

SNES for me. I grew up with it. My runner up would be the TG-16. |

It's up to me to give sega some love then is it? ![]() TurboGrafx-16 is so damn rare here in the UK i have never had the joy of playing one, played a neo-geo once but a very long time ago. Played a lot of neo-geo arcade titles via mame though and they are absolutely stunning. The megadrive is my fav from this list though. I like the snes but i would choose a sega system over nintendo anyday. |

I put my vote in for the Genesis, but in reality they are all my favorites. That was a great console generation, without a doubt. |

I'm saying the Genesis because it was the first system I owned and I had a bunch of games for it until I got older, wanted money, and sold it

I would have to say the SNES was the best. he number of amazing titles released on the console was immense and included legendary games like Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Earthbound, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, and Chrono Trigger. Plus I am just a huge fan of Nintendo.

I picked the Genesis, only because I have many memories with the Sonic games. Now if I went by my standards today, I'd probably say SNES. |

Personally my favourite is the SNES or Super FamiCom, it was the first system I have ever played and I have very fond memories of it, all the games I used to play were incredible, I also did play the Genesis around the same time but the SNES just did it better for me! |

Most likely it would be the Sega Genesis. The SNES may have a lot of great games, but the genesis will always have that soft spot for me. Plus more of my favorite games of the 4th generation of systems exist on the Genesis (so that kinda helps... kinda) |

Ask me several years ago, and I would have said the SNES...but I recently got a Genesis for the first time and collecting for it has been a blast! There are so many wacky, non-Nintendo games for it that it's just a pleasure to play them all. Plus I really like the plastic hard cases that Genesis games come in. Very handy for keeping them like new all these years later. |
