So now that E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is officially over.Nintendo has shown off some more gameplay of the Legend of Zelda:skyward sword.Which looks really cool and it will be taking full advantage of the Wii motion plus.
Posted Image
Nintendo has also announced a 25th anniversary golden Wii motion plus remote. So if your on the fence about buying a Wii motion plus remote perhaps this will help you come to a decision.

Nintendo show off the new E3 trailer for Skyward Sword. Now,I've been following the Legend of Zelda series for awhile now.If you played ocarina of time you know that game makes two timelines.Which have sparked heated debates among Zelda fans.I know that the master sword won't be used in Skyward Sword.I'm about 80% sure that mister Miyamoto said that himself. So is Skyward Sword a prequel to Twilight Princess? and if it's not where does it fit in the timeline? There are rumors that Skyward Sword Link is shade the hero (legendary ghost hero who teaches Link new moves in TP) Either way Skyward Sword is shaping up to look like a fantastic title and i can't wait to get my hands on this game.

The timeline question in Zelda games are really confusing, I think the Nerd did a really good chronologicaly confused episode on the matter.

I am sort of excited to this game, but for some strange reason I always put off buying and playing Zelda gams. Hopefully I'll get my hands on Twilight Princess for real cheap and play that one soon.

The screens look real good though !

Haha,I've seen that video of AVGN talking about the the Legend of Zelda timeline. It's true that the Zelda timeline is very confusing but that doesn't stop Zelda fanatics from trying to piece it together.I think maybe the Zelda games are kinda like the Final Fantasy games in the sense that the stories are not inner locking. There are some Zelda games that do connect like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.Ah,dude you haven't played Twilight Princess yet? I think you can pick it up for pretty cheap now.Seeing as how Nintendo has released "Nintendo Selects" which is like "players choice" or "greatest hits".I'm super excited for Skyward Sword.I can't wait to swan dive off a cliff into the sky.Riding big birds is going to be pretty fun too.The water paint art style is very nice. It's like a cross between twilight princess and Wind Waker. It's like real but still keeping it cartoonie.Which,I'm super thankful for.Twilight Princess is the darkest game in the Zelda series.

Nintendo keeps confirming that they do in fact have a timeline for the Zelda series, they just don't wanna release it for whatever reason.

I know that Nintendo has said the Zelda series has a timeline. This is how "i" personally view the series.Unless i know it's a direct sequel.Like Zelda 1 and 2 or Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. There are many youtubers who have try to piece together a timeline and despite their effort.Someone always finds a flaw in it.This might be why Nintendo hasn't released an official timeline.Perhaps there are still to many holes.

Very hyped for this, can't wait. Doubt I will be able to resist any Skyward Sword-related goodies such as the gold Wii motion plus, and any limited edition guides etc. I'm a sucker for all that.

This article not only confirms that Skyward Sword is complete, but it also touches on some other cool tidbits:
http://wii.ign.com/articles/117/1179788p1.html

This is one of my most anticicpated games by far. I love the Zelda series, Twilight Princess being one of my all-time favorite games, and I think that the art direction, flight mechanics, and motion plus make this very exciting.

I'm very excited for Skyward Sword since I love the Zelda games, and this looks like a very worthy addition to the legendary series.

I'm so hyped for this game it's not even funny... And the best part? I'm hyped about just playing as Link again. So unless, for some ungodly reason, they make someone other than Link the main character, I can't possibly be disappointed! I will admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the art direction at first, but I'm not going to let that stop me from experiencing a potentially great game. Besides, it's kind of growing on me. I also really want that controller... I don't care if I have 6 controllers in my house already.

On the subject of the timeline, I believe I read somewhere (don't quote me on this now) that they do have an official timeline placing the current games in their correct order, but they don't actually have a "Master Timeline", if you will. The timeline they have is ever-changing, and I believe they said they didn't want to release it to prevent confusing people. For instance: if they released the timeline after Skyward Sword came out placing all the existing games in their order, they would have a hard time doing another game within the timeline without people getting angry. "But you said Skyward Sword came directly before Ocarina of Time, what do you mean you're making a game between them!?" The way they have it now, people who really care can speculate and people who just casually like the games wont be confused... Yeah I don't really think it'd be that big of a deal either, but I guess if they think it's for the best, it's theirs to do whatever they want with.

That all being said, this game will be a great note to end the Wii off with... Well for me, I'm sure there will be more games that come out between this and the Wii U, but this will probably be the last game I pick up for the Wii. I guess I'm sending it off with a bang :D

The article said no horses in skyward sword so does that mean no hyrule?I know this wouldn't be the first Zelda title to take place outside of hyrule.Zelda's no longer a princess!?! WHAAAA!?!This is unheard of unless you count wind waker.

Calling all Legend of Zelda fans! Just a quick heads up,Amazon.com has just started taking pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Bundle. It come's with a soundtrack/golden wii remote and the game itself. It's about 20 dollars more than the regular edition but i believe it's well worth it.

Here's the Link if you're interested. [linkspin]
The Legend of Zelda:Skyward Sword Golden Wii Remote Bundle

Sure,i could have pre-ordered it at Gamestop but...me and Gamestop?...that wasn't happening.

I am so stoked for this, it's not even funny. I'm obsessing big time! Also, at the risk of sounding like a crazy shipper, 'looks like there's LURVE between Zelda and Link, too.

These aren't the droids we're looking for.

Honestly, I haven't really kept up with Skyward Sword, but for some reason I find myself really freaking excited about it all of a sudden. I have no idea why (other than the fact that its freaking Zelda). I'll definitely be getting the bundle - I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.

So I just pre-ordered and paid in full for Zelda today. I've been putting off, deciding whether or not I want to go for it but that wii remote and soundtrack was just too worth it. For only $20 difference too? Can't really beat that at all.
