Well within the next week I will hopefully have the money to buy the 250gb model. After I get my year of Xbox live, I will be on a limited budget. I will only have anywhere between 370-390 dollars before I buy the system. After the system is bought I plan on getting Gears of War of sure but dont know what else I should get with it. What do you guys think?

They are great games (haven't played Reach yet but my friends have and they said it was awesome) and they are not too expensive (I managed to get Reach LE for 27$, brand new and sealed). Other than that, you might want to try Forza 3 if you like racing games, and perhaps Left 4 Dead (it is cheap right now) too.

Sega Does What Nintendon't Posts: 3,285 Group: Moderator Member #792 Joined: May 25, 2009	Tales of Vesperia Deathsmiles (ESPgaluda II Black Label, Mushihimesama Futari 1.5, Muchi Muchi Pork! & Pink Sweets, and Bullet Soul if you dont mind importing.. these are all region free so will run on any 360) Borderlands Lost Odyssey @ lol_pc I loved Too Human as well I dont know why it got so much hate. It and borderlands are the most fun I have had on XBL!

Gears of War 2 is alright, you can pick it up at Walmart for 20 bucks and get all the maps and the extra campaign stage. But I prefer GoW 1. and GEARS OF WAR 3 when it comes out.

I know I didn't really get into my 360 all that much until I started playing Halo 3 with my friends. I've also seen far too many people make the mistake of picking up multiplatform games and deciding they didn't like the system. I feel it's pretty much mandatory to pick up the newest Halo game when you pick up a 360 lol. That's pretty much the place to get your feet wet for Xbox Live and Reach is really a masterpiece in terms of what all it allows you to do. Mass Effect was probably better for those who played it before they played 2, but you have to experience Mass Effect the way it was meant to be experienced on the 360. The PS3 version is great, but it truly fails in comparison from the experience you get from being able to import a character from the first game. But past that it's pretty much a retort of what everyone else has said... Alan Wake Gears of War 1 and 2 Blue Dragon Lost Odyssey Tales of Vesperia Earth Defense Force 2017 Metro 2033 Splinter Cell Conviction Fable II (I cannot, in good conscious, recommend Fable III) Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Dead Rising Halo 3/ODST I'd pretty much recommend checking out any exclusive I listed above. Also, for a great, cheap way to get some games for the 360, check out the indie game market place. "I MAED A GAEM WTH ZOMBEZ" (or however it's spelled) is a great twin stick shooter, to name one. There are a lot of other surprisingly good games on the indie market place as well if you bother to look. A couple of others you could check out are FortressCraft and Soul. The 360 also has some great titles in it's backwards cpatibility library you can get cheap as well. Well I hope this helps, make sure if you're a completionist to not get addicted to achievements

I'd highly recommend getting one if you can manage. Lost Odyssey Gears of War 1-3 Rage Oblivion Brutal Legend Fable 2 & 3 (but they are surprisingly short) I could go on, and some of those aren't exclusive to the 360, but if you haven't played them you should.
