Game Chasers are a bunch of cucks Posts: 978 Group: Members Member #3,326 Joined: Jan 21, 2011	In a interview with eurogamer Shuhei Yoshida give a reason why there will be never any cross gmae chat "The game has to use its own memory to do (in-game voice chat) There's always voice chat in the game But it's a part of a game feature It's not a part of an OS feature That's the reason in terms of the ability to have voice chat across different games Once a game gets RAM we never give it back" ps3 it does everything besides cross chat but it does include identity theft

Excluding Turtle Beach etc. you make a good argument but my friends one there besides 4 have some really good mics my friends list up too 30 now and there is still no way to cross game chat over one unit (basically we go on skype problem solved) but for those that don't have a computer right next to them it is hard to talk to them while they play infamous or something

Excluding Turtle Beach etc. I use the Sony Bluetooth headset and it works well enough for me, but I agree that the sound quality could be better and the majority of people you meet online don't seem to use headsets. However, I rarely play online with my PS3 and mainly stick to single-player games. The underdeveloped chat features don't irk me.

And what makes it quite funny is the fact that the Vita is going to have Cross-Game chat, but never the PS3. I have my PS3 and 360 hooked up to the same TV, so I can use the Cross-Game Chat on the 360 as I play my PS3. And I'm sure most of us could use Skype. So this isn't crippling.

I guess they didn't even know their own system... I'm not hating on sony here, but that one feature would put me on that console more than once every few months... That's the only reason I use xbox exclusively for 90% of my gaming.

Level 7 Posts: 1,369 Group: Members Member #1,853 Joined: Mar 31, 2010	This is the one true case where having only 256mb of ram for general working ram and 256mb dedicated to the Nvidia gpu blew up in there face. Whereas xbox has 512mb of shared cpu/gpu ram.
