Hey everyone!

So a few weeks back I went on a Capcom NES hunt and I picked up quite a few titles. One of my favorites that day was Trojan. If you guys have this collection and haven't played it I suggest digging it out, wiping off those corroded contacts and trying this out. If you have fond memories of this game, or absolutely hate it, let's hear about it!

I was really impressed by the quality of this game considering its platform, since a lot of NES games are known for poor programming and infuriating difficulty.

I'm currently stuck at the third stage and after about 20 minutes I can pass the first two without losing a life.

Anyways, fellow gamers let's hear what you have to think about Trojan!

Great port of the arcade game. It's not toned down quite as much as other Capcom conversions of the day. It's a tough game, but the kind of game that you can roll through in ten minutes flat if you know the enemy and boss patterns. Personally, I really enjoy it. :)

Yeah at a first glance or first few attempts it feels impossible to play. Once I got the hang of it I was blowing through the levels fairly quickly. Tonight I got to the last level and it was just a perpetual wave of death, and I lost all 3 of my lives pretty quick. Alas, I'll save this victory for another day. :diddymad:

I own this game. It's not bad, but I don't think I can get very far in it. Nonetheless, Capcom rarely ceases to amaze me.

Yeah, Trojan is a cool game, but it's quite challenging. I remember playing that game years ago and loving the soundtrack more than anything. I think that's why I kept going back to it :P

I still haven't beat Trojan but I've mastered 80% of the game. I will beat it in 2012!
