I killed Abeloth. Posts: 450 Group: Members Member #4,243 Joined: Sep 6, 2011	I have an elite (the black model right before the slim) and I haven't had any problems with it either. Although, I bought a set of Turtle Beach PX21's and bought the A/V adapter and guess what the elite doesn't have? That's right, no A/V plug.

Posts: 3,481 Group: Admins Member #719 Joined: May 12, 2009 Currently Playing Bloodborne.	The only problem I've heard about is defective units that are very loud and scratch discs. My friend bought a 4GB Slim model and it sounded like a motorcycle engine, and it scratched up my copy of Fable II as well. In terms of the system failing to the RROD, I haven't heard of that happening yet. All consoles have a certain failure rate, but it seems that the problems that plagued the older models have been ironed out. I still have my Elite model and it works perfectly fine after 2 years, though I sometimes feel like it's on borrowed time.

My first slim had a faulty disc drive and wouldn't read anything, then my second slim had a faulty temperature sensor and kept displaying overheating errors when in fact it wasn't overheating at all. Both of those consoles failed within the first four weeks. I've had my third and current slim for around six months now and touch wood, it has been completely fine.

I may be wrong, but when they were putting out the hardware specs for the system I believe they mentioned that.

Level 3 Posts: 156 Group: Members Member #2,506 Joined: Aug 8, 2010	Haven't had an xbox 360 for about 2 years until 3 weeks ago I bought a slim because I heard the failure rate was much lower and I just felt like a new console, my brother took his PS3 since he's moving out and I truly prefer the 360 over the PS3, besides from that darn failure rate! I haven't had any problems with it so far and it is noticeably quiter, apparently there aren't red LED's in the system so it wouldn't be considered a RROD if it were to fail.

	If you are constantly getting mad at a game and losing, it is a sign to stop playing or u just suck.
