It seems like a lot of people on the forum get so much time for gaming. I'm able to play about 15 hours a week. It feels like an average amount of time but man, some weeks it goes by too quickly.

That depends on several factors, such as how busy I am with other things, how much I am enjoying the games I have, new games being purchased, etc. 10 to 15 hours per week is about the average for me, but a great game that I get hooked on can easily double that. For example, I have put 40 hours into Dead Island over the course of two weeks, and previous to that I put 25 hours into Borderlands in a single week. it really depends.

If you are constantly getting mad at a game and losing, it is a sign to stop playing or u just suck.

It depends on many things, if I get a game i've been really excited about I can some times put in around 40-50 hours if I get into it. Got Battlefield 3 last thursday which i've now played for 25-30 hours, and when Skyrim finally arrives I expect to double that time.

HS has taken my gaming to a minimum (gotta keep my grades up ;) )

On weeks that I don't have a lot of homework or exams (especially in Italian) then I usually play for about 15-20 hrs. On weeks that I am flooded with homework, exams, or I am in need of extra help in a certain subject, I will usually play 2-4 hrs.

During Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks, I will play about 25-30 hours.

I would say that in the average week i play around 15-20 hours, but if a game comes out that i am really looking forward to (Skyrim) it is around 35 hours.

It really depends. I have a chronic illness so some weeks I don't play at all because I'm too sick, whereas other weeks if I'm feeling okay it can be up to maybe 15-20 hours. Generally if my health is really good I won't play as much as I could because I like to do all the things I can't when I'm sick, other hobbies, see friends etc.

Ds Games!

With work taking up all day every day of the week day for me, I'm down to around 5 hours or so on the weekends these days. Taking me forever to get through dragon quest 5.

you and me both man.... Having a job and growing up pretty much kills all gaming for me. I have found that now that I make a lot of money I just buy games to have and maybe... one day.... play.....

I can put about 10 hours in a week and up to 20 hours, if I get addicted to the game.

I try to log at least 4.5 hours a day of gaming, I play from when I get home from school (3) to when I'm about to go to sleep (10) but i usually take breaks, so on average I will get a good 4.5 hours in a day, which amounts to 31.5 hours a week.

Back in 9th and 10th grade I would come home and play games until i went to bed which was probably about 6-7 hours per day and maybe like 40 hours a week total. I'm a senior now and i still buy all the games I want to get but i don't feel compelled to play for long anymore. If i do play I usually only spend 1-2 hrs at most now.

Oh yeah, but I have literally no work to do for school ever so I just kind of lost interest in playing games so much.

There is a Richter Scale for this type of work. Normal models generally run you 1-100 hours a week of measurement. You need a special build if you are playing 100+ hours a week; this is generally known as the Dorr Scale.

The newest model of the Dorr Scale, the Pete Dorr 4000 Serbian Film Edition is said to be able to handle 400 hours a week so when you get fucked so hard you get brought back in time you know you can always reliably measure your time.

I tend to do a lot of marathoning. I may play for 10-12 hours straight and then not play for several days. Probably anywhere from 15-50 hours a week for me depending on how many new games come out, how interesting they are, and how much sleep I need lol.

Back in high school I woud probably play around 15-20 hours a week on average. But now that I'm in college I have other prioriteis to take care of, plus most of my systems are back at home (I still have my N64, Xbox 360, and 3DS) so I don't play as much. I would say now I only game for around 5 hours a week. However with some great 3DS software coming out in the next few weeks I'll probably start playing a lot more.

It really varies for me. If I am really into a game, I will blow right through it. I tend to sit down in my comfy chair and play a handheld until I am ready for bed. Some weeks, because of school, I do not get any time to play games. My average would probably be around 10 hours a week.

Last few weeks i've spent about 30 hours. I was rushing to get the Yakuza 4 platinum before Uncharted 3 came out, then I rushed to get Uncharted 3 platinum before Call Of Duty came out, but I did that so fast i've had time to finally play Williams Pinball and finish that.

Few months this year I didn't play anything, it really does depend on how much there is to play.

I also like to watch alot of TV shows and films.
