I recently got a Sega Genesis model 1 and the power adapter does not work. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? I appreciate the help, I really want to start collecting genesis games.

There's probably a short in one of the wires. Unfortunatly you're probably just going to have to replace it. |

yeah just buy a new one...its pointless trying to fix it...are you sure it is the power supply for the model 1...because I believe the model 1 and model 2 had different power supplies http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-SEGA-GENESIS-POWER-CORD-MODEL1502-1-/400229318301?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item5d2f86be9d |
