WiiWare Cave Story-Worth It?; Does the WiiWare version of Cave Story justify the price tag?

Level 1 Posts: 28 Group: Members Member #1,621 Joined: Feb 20, 2010	I played the PC freeware version of Cave Story, and I loved it. I was just wondering if people thought the WiiWare version of Cave Story is worth buying over simply playing the original PC version for free. I know the art/graphics are slightly improved and the music is rearranged. Also, according to Wikipedia, it has a “Boss Rush” mode, which I suppose is a boss attack mode, a Sanctuary time attack mode, and the ability to play through the game as Curly Brace. These changes/upgrades are cool, but do they really justify paying for the WiiWare version? I already plan on buying the 3DS version some day, but I don’t know if I should bother with the WiiWare version. I’m not looking for suggestions on what I should do; I just want to know what other gamers thought of the WiiWare version compared to the freeware version and whether these differences warrant the price tag.

Sega Does What Nintendon't Posts: 3,285 Group: Moderator Member #792 Joined: May 25, 2009	I enjoyed the Wii version of the game and think its well worth picking up. I haven't played the free PC version so cant really say if its a better version or not.
