WE ARE TOTTENHAM SUPER TOTTENHAM WE ARE TOTTENHAM FROM THE LANE Chuffed with our recent form, everything is going so well and everyone is playing so well that it's making me a little bit nervous haha. Glad to see United out of the Champions League by the way, oh how I loathe them. |

Can't deny that spurs are in a vein of form at the moment , think they could finish second just behind a rampant man city side this season as from what ive watched spurs are a class team this year. Mind you they win that game in hand they could go 4 points behind man city and could really start a title challenge. If spurs can keep hold of there key players during january and buy a half-decent centre back who can keep himself fit , theres no reason why they couldnt challenege for the barclays premier league |

Agreed. Man U. just doesn't have the competitive squad they have had in the past, and the Spurs seem to be giving it their best shot, but I don't see anyone pulling by Man City this year. |

According to the latest transfer rumours alex and cahill are both potienal targets to fill that centre-back spot. Think cahill would seem the more likely option as im sure alex wages may be a stumbling block. I know spurs have high-paid players but im sure if they could get a player with basically the same abilty for cheaper im sure daniel levy would use his buisness mind and go for the cheaper option. Gary cahill is a excellent centre-back none the less and im sure a bid of 8million or so should suffice which is the going rate for a decent centre back nowadays. |

Agreed on Cahill, the cheaper option certainly worked out well for us with regards to Scott Parker who has been phenomenal for us this season. Cahill seems like he could be a similar fit. Last transfer window we couldn't seem to lure the players we wanted, probably because we were asking for players a little out of our range, but hopefully this window players will see our potential and see Tottenham as a viable option. |

Chris Foy was outstanding for Stoke today. Man of the match. Ryan Shawcross was playing basketball at one point for fucks sake. |

Thought spurs were extremely unlucky today they were by far the better side and chris foy had a howler , adebayors what should have been his second was called wrongly offside not to mention there was about another 2 penaltys turned down which were stone-wallers. Dont know how crouch got man of the match. Sorensen for me kept stoke in it single-handley with some vital saves and deserves man of the match in my opnion. |

It seems like whenever Tottenham plays Stoke it just doesn't work out in their favor. I know it was pretty much two different teams playing in September, but it seemed like the Carling Cup played out the same way at Britannia. |

Will be intresting to see how spurs respond to that hammering , 5 - 2 by there biggest rivals when there were 2 goals up with 5 mins to go before half-time not good no matter what way you look at it. Still think spurs are too strong to be caught by chelsea/arsenal or liverpool who all look like contendors for the last top 4 spot. Also heard from a few sources eden hazard could be heading to white hart lane in the summer , he even said to sky sports its a move thats intresting him. That would certainly be a coup but would he be unhappy playing out of his natural position as i cant see him taking bales place.

Ugh, that game... Even at 2-0 we we riding our luck and didn't look comfortable. Saha's goal was lucky, and Bale's penalty was a little soft. At that stage we should have been in command of the game but we weren't, we looked terrified every time Arsenal came anywhere near our penalty area. Defensively we were shocking, Ekotto and King had a bad day, especially King who looked like he struggled to keep up. Perhaps a fitness issue. To be honest I don't know what happened, we are without a doubt a strong side and Arsenal are pretty poor right now as far as Arsenal go, so it should have been a lot closer than it really was. But everyone on the team looked like they either didn't know what they were doing or didn't want to be there. It was bizarre. I can only assume it was a little bit of complacency mixed with poor tactics. I mean why on earth Lennon didn't start is beyond me. And bringing off Saha at half time for Van der Vaart? Pointless. I don't know. I'd rather forget it, it was horrible to watch, especially in a pub surrounded by gloating Arsenal fans. As if they've had a stellar season... Manchester United next. Not looking forward to that one either... |

Two more defeats , one against man united no great shame there but if spurs want to finish above arsenal , no disrespect to everton but on form and abilty-wise this season spurs should have picked up the 3 points and with arsenal playing the comeback in the last few games and only being 1 point behind it will be a tough run-in. |

Poor form by the spurs recently. In my opinion they have went from playing some of the nicest football in the premier league to total abysmal play. Think the england speculation is affecting harry a lot more than it should not to mention a few key players such as van de vaart and bale havent been up to there usual standards and steady players like kaboul have been up and down recently. Hopefully levy allows for a transfer warchest to accomadate into the budget if spurs want to continue competing with the powerhousess of the premier league although the new stadium proposals will be really beneficial from a financial point of view with spurs as i can see spurs filling up a 56000 stadium as there season book waiting list is quite large from what i hear and having probaly the third highest average gate is the northumberland project goes ahead can only be good to the club. |

I don't follow the epl to much, but it seems the spurs always have a nice start but lose steam in the end. Just in case you are wondering I am a Barca supporter |
