Alright, so I've had a Wii for like a year but I only have two games, 'cause frankly Wii hasn't been releasing any good titles. My girlfriend and I bought a shiny new XBox and I need to get some new games. I don't have a lot of money though. I'm right now at a fork in the road. I could either buy a game for my new XBox or buy a new game for my Wii. Both these games are currently top sellers. I've heard Skyrim is addicting and hours of fun while Skyward Sword has better story telling and more action than the last Zelda games, I've even heard it might be better than Ocarina of Time. So forum, what should I get; Skyrim or Skyward? By the way, someone told me I should get Skyward first because after I get Skyrim I will never want to play another game again and I will probably suffer from side effects such as but not limited to: head aches, sweating, back pains, carpal tunnel, hunger, obesity, acne, blindness, lack of sleep, dehydration, lack of life, never seeing the light of day again, low grades, failing high school, failing college, dropping out of high school, dropping out of college, fired from job and/or quitting job, and never getting a blow job again. One last thing, little Luigi dance

I like the last option of playing Skyrim!! LOL ;p. But me personally, I loved Ocarina of Time, and Oblivion. Skyrim is better than Oblivion as I have been told, and the same could be said about Skyward Sword. I personally would go for Skyward Sword, just because of the experience. Every Zelda game I have played, has drawn me into the story, and Skyrim well is quite long. |

I choose to buy Skyward Sword. I've never played an Elder Scrolls game (sadly) and I've been a Zelda fan since I was a kid. I love Skyward Sword. I'm not a big Wii fan for it's motion sensors, it's not a bad idea and I don't put Nintendo down for it it's just not my thing, but Skyward Sword has tight controls that I love. I actually feel like I'm in complete control of the sword. P.S. I didn't want an arrow in the knee (yes, I had to say that) |

I havent played skyward sword so i can really comment on it. Skyrim is much more my kind of game though and i'd recommend it to anyone, especially if you havent played and Elder Scrolls game before. They really got everything right in this one. |

I have to say Skyward Sword. When they unveiled at E3 that it was going to be exclusively motion controls at first I was put off but after playing it I feel it adds to the experience and it works really well. I have never played a Elder Scrolls game and Skyward Sword is the first Zelda game that I have actually gotten in to. Previous Zelda games I lost interest after a few hours but this one completely sucked me in. I have to say that it is easily my game of the year and now one of my favorite games of all time. |

I love the beginning. When I first started the game I played for five hours straight (which usually I only play Zelda games for two hours tops because they give me a headache after a while). I just got sucked right into it. This is the first Zelda game to have an extremely well thought out and smooth story line. It's not just "here's the basic plot now go defeat these dungeons;" the game actually has meaning and reasons of why the player has to go to certain locations.

Skyrim is amazing, but I adore Zelda, my advice will be useless but all I can say is just watch many play throughs, I can't choose its like choosing out of your babies haha. |
