Hey guys I couldn't believe no one made a thread about what we all got for Christmas this year so I decided to make one myself! Games: Sonic Generations (3ds) Alundra (PS1) Thousand Arms (PS1) Little bro got me a mint version with all the extras! Thousand Arms Guide Battalion Wars (GC) Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 (DC) Jeanne d'Arc (PSP) Yggdra Union (PSP) Crimson Gem Saga (PSP) Extreme G III (GC) Non-gaming stuff: Fleece Blanket New LSU Sweatshirt Some new pillows for my couch A thermal material shirt for working out in the cold LSU BCS Championship shirt New pair of Sperry Top-siders for work A multi-tool I tunes giftcard Cash And finally a heating pad that melts candles instead of letting them burn All in all I did pretty well! From my Mom's side of the family: The Hunger Games Trilogy New Shoes Super Mario 3D Land Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars Deodorant $25 Visa Card Awesome shirt that has Woodstock from Charlie Brown on it that says 'Angry Birds'. From my Dad's side of the family: $400. I don't see them until tomorrow, though. But they have been out of town all month and didn't have enough time to go Christmas shopping, so they just said they'd give me $400 instead. Oh, and my boyfriend got me a new jacket. Gaming-wise: Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Really pretty from what I've played so far) Skyrim (I haven't played it yet. I wanna say goodbye to my friends first, haha) Other: Sweedish Fish (YES!) Oatmeal Cream Pies (Again, YES!) Bacon Flavored Popcorn (I can't wait to try this) Jerky Chew (Pretty tasty, but I think I prefer regular jerky) Forrest Gump (Now I can finally watch it) Winnie the Pooh (The new one, it was a family gift, but I won't deny I'm excited to watch it) 5 Centimeters Per Second (My parents ordered it online, but it won't get here until the 29th) Angry Birds band-aids (I never really get cuts, but okay) New earbuds (to replace my old ones) iTunes $10 gift card (I'll probably use it to partially pay for Breaking Bad season 4) HD digital camera (everybody in the family got one, will be nice if I go into Film class) The Circle by Ted Dekker (all four books in The Circle series in one book) I didn't get everything I was hoping for, but hey, I'm still pretty happy with what I got. That, and my birthday is only in eleven more days.

Well I'm not as fortunate as everyone else on this forum it seems. I got $50 and some socks and some sweats and a T-Shirt. I haven't had an amazing Christmas since the Xbox 360 was released in 2005. I always have to buy myself things but that's okay I guess. Merry Christmas everyone. |

All of my Christmas gifts from my family and secret santa. This is stuff I bought myself for Christmas.  I also got $75 in giftcards, a bunch of game informers, a renewed subscription to the Gamestop rewards program, and some clothes. I also got God of War 3 which I already had so I will be going to exchange that for something else. Overall I got everything I wanted and more. There is so much stuff I already bought before the holidays that the bigger releases, I already owned. Excellent Christmas considering I only had one person minus my secret santa getting me stuff. |

I never ask for anything gaming related for Christmas since I can usually get great deals around town and I'd feel bad if someone spent retail on them for me :/ However! I did get about $400 in gift cards for every place around me that I like to go eat at. It's going to be a Merry Christmas for me for months to come.... A couple shirts Rightstuf had an amazing sale on the anime stuff so I got my dad to put an order through there and just give it to me as Christmas gifts. Oh yeah, I got a pretty cool Japanese magazine. Pretty funny when opening it. Rip wrapping paper, see line of breasts. Dad tells me to open magazine, poster of naked anime girl on page I open to. He laughs at the look I give him. Ended up having some really cool stuff unrelated to such things in that poster with how little I can understand so far. I feel like a weeaboo this year

Don't worry man, you are not alone as I did not get much either but I am not ungrateful because I know for a fact my mother and that can't afford as much as she used to back in the 90s and that. Besides, most of the games I will get for myself in the future anyway. Got Rayman Origins & Skylanders and clothes (well mostly pyjamas), a watch, a book and a mug. But I am 26 so I don't expect to get as much as I did when I was 10 or so. Besides, I am not one of these whiny bitches on twitter who are pissed off at their parents etc for not getting gifts they wanted like ipad, iphone, cars etc. |
