What started as a teasing riddle is ending as a confession.

Sega Digital Brand Manager Ken Balough teased Sonic fans with a riddle over Christmas, and they quickly deciphered it. It hinted to a Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 announcement being imminent.

Balough came clean, and pretty much said that they're right. A direct quote from his forum post on the official Sega forums:
"Maybe most of you have figured it out, but just in case you were still wondering: Episode II will announced on GameSpot worldwide on December 29th, 2011"

He follows up with a second post saying not to expect too much from the announcement. It will get a similar teaser trailer like Episode I did. I'm sure when the trailer hits tomorrow, it'll make the internet rounds quickly, and you can be the trailer will get on ScrewAttack too.

After how well-received Sonic Generations was, I wonder if they've tweaked the Sonic 4 gameplay enough to make all loud complainers out there shut up and enjoy the game.

Whatever. I didn't like Episode 1, I ain't getting episode 2. Why can't Sega just make the game complete? Why they gotta split it up?

Was recently gifted Sonic Generations on steam during the sale so really looking forward to that, seen a ton of vids and it looks like they may have actually got the balance right. Cant say im too excited for Sonic 4 Episode 2 though, really didnt like how the first episode played.

I would also prefer it if Sega just made it one game. Given the first episode was released over a year ago, they've really been taking their sweet ass time with the second.
