I know that many die-hard Megaman fans might leave trolling replies.... but think about it, does Megaman's side scolling action on the NES and SNES compare to the Battle Network games. Honestly I do not enjoy the Battle Network games because in every one it just feels like I'm doing the same exact things as in the previous games..... [megamanshoot] [megamanshoot] [megamanshoot] [megamanshoot] :megaman2: :megaman2: :megaman2: :megaman2: :megaman2: :megaman2:

I thought the Battle Network series was pretty good. They do remake the same concept game after game, but honestly is the regular Megaman series that different? Megaman 1-8 along with the X series all have the general same storyline with different powers. Megaman Battle Network series introduces new chips to use for new weapons. One of the main differences that I saw was the Battle Network series is geared more towards kids. I like the original Megaman, X Series, & Battle Network and found that they are great series.

I personally find the Megaman Battle Network games range any wheres between alright to very enjoyable (well at least the GBA/DS games.)

I understand they're not your cup of tea, but just due to other games are very much alike, that does not make them "suck." It just makes them... well similar.

:megaman2: The point I'm trying to make is an all the Battle Network games, the gameplay is so similar to the previous game that came before it. The only thing that really changes is enemies and story. I could be wrong but I find them pretty boring myself...

Well I don't think they suck, I just really couldn't find a better topic name without making the title super long.

I don't like what I've seen of the .EXE, Battle Network, etc. series, but I love the original 8-bit series and first four of the X series.

It's a good series I played all of them beside 4 and I think they are not that bad yeah they have similar gameplay and I remember them to be kinda of popular maybe it's because of the anime I don't really remember.

They were great RPGs...they don't deserve the hate they get. It's like Mario RPG...people love that shit just because it's Mario...there's NOTING special about it, but it's Mario, so people enjoy it. Same with these games. Battle Network was a unique take on the world of Mega Man, and one I found both incredibly creative and very fun to play.

i don't hate them..... i do somewhat enjoy number 4 but the similarity between them just drives me away from the others in the series.

I've played one, I think it was 2 or something, and I really enjoy it. Just because the series is very similar, doesn't mean that they are bad...

I bought the first one when it came out. I REALLY enjoyed my time with it and eventually beat it. BUT my Battle Network journey stopped there. I am interested in playing the second and maybe third though. I really liked seeing my favorite Mega Man characters getting redesigns and the gameplay was pretty original at first(although I can see Pokemon connections). Overall I will say that it seems this series has be milked way too much and the newer ones look just like the original I played.
