Python is a very good option to start with, and even though its not soo much programming as it is a markup language, HTML is a good place to start and then move on to Python. Its tough so don't get discouraged and the internet is your best friend for help! Forums specifically for programming are very useful too.

Level 9001 Posts: 243 Group: Members Member #4,595 Joined: Dec 31, 2011	I did a programming class in BOCES when I was in highschool. HTML was my first language, then I moved on to COBOL (weird but fun IMHO), Visual Basic, and a little bit of Visual C++. It was fun but I lost my touch after graduation. I want to start building my own video games for fun like with XNA for Xbox 360 and GameMaker so I really want to get back into programming again.

I want to go to a college to expand my knowledge of programming. Coincidentally, I've been looking into Python because there's a game maker that uses it.
