i made this game recently and i'm looking for any opinions or criticisms. its a concept for an iphone game. its a urban themed rpg, most rpg's are sci-fi or medieval themed so i felt this is something new. heres some screens, i did all the art, programming, and design its osx only right now, the windows version is really buggy there IS one glitch i cant fix right now with the sound. after a few minutes the sound will turn to static, i dont know why. give it a few seconds to load, it needs a gig of ram OSX download: http://www.mediafire.com/?v4bljb61x71aw9k i made it with SilverCreator which is a free game making tool, if your interested you can check it out here http://gamemakersgarage.com/forum/index.php?topic=574.0 Edited by EqwanoX, Feb 3 2012, 10:26 AM.

Hey man, I'm interested in making games for gaming platforms. What do you use to make them? |

thanks turbo @JR, you can make games in C for the iphone and xbox live, but you also have to pay for a developer licence. i only do character design and animations so i used a simple program called SilverCreator to put together this example that i would like to have ported to the iphone someday. otherwise, programming isnt for me. but also you can make games in HTML5 now, and submit it to game sites and get payed. you can check out a new html5 gamemaker here. it takes alot of trial and error to learn but if you have a good idea for a game, thats what keeps you motivated http://gamemakersgarage.com/html5/ |

I wouldn't mind doing HTML5. I'd have to wait for my big rig but definitely something to look forward to. I also want to mention Microsoft XNA. You can make games on your computer and release them to Xbox 360. Doesn't cost anything to make the games but it does to release them onto the 360. |

I have made games before and programming is my favorite part of making games. It's what brings your game to life. Graphics are my least favorite part of game creation though. Never heard of SilverCreator. I'll have to check it out.
