According to sources in EA the release date for medal of honor 2 the direct sequel to the medal of honor game of 2010 will be revealed Tuesday march 6 20:00 hrs PST(pacific standard time) this will be announced in a press event, well this comes to no surprise to other gamers well this is due mostly to a lot a chatter on the web and of course for those who own a new of battlefield 3 copy they might have noticed a flyer also with this information. Danger Close has been hiring like mad personnel since last year for a AAA first person shooter. Well I enjoyed the first one played it on PC and on ps3, the story was pretty good let's just hope that these focus a little bit more on the story and a little less on the multiplayer because most of these shooting games only care about the online side and less about the story, battlefield 3 is an example and COD [metalslug]

To be honest with you, playing online as opposed to the story mode is what people prefer to do. That's not saying that we prefer online to story mode, but the grand majority of gamers kinda go for the online more often. I've seen people in halo 3 play for years since launch and not even touch the campaign once

I know you're totally right maybe I'm just old fashioned but as a gamer, a customer of these corporation that make all these games I would like to see a better story. I don't know dude maybe I'm out of style and don't get me wrong I do like the online experiences that these games put out

I wouldn't mind a really good story mode myself. I'd just hate to see how many people would pass it by unfortunately.

And trust me, you're not old fashioned :)

In the case of Halo, I actually think there's equally as many buying it for the campaign as those who buy for multiplayer. The Halo universe has gained a massive following partly because of the story in the games.

Personally, even with FPS', I prefer a great singleplayer to a great multiplayer (The Battlefield series is the exception), Crysis 2, Singularity, Half-Life 2 or Bioshock 2 as examples, i've never touched the multiplayer.

Well trust me, you're not really missing out on Bioshock 2 multiplayer :X

I'm balanced personally. If I get sick of the story mode I go for multiplayer and vice versa. I like having them all. MAG for example, I love the game but since it's online only it might collect a good amount of dust for quite a while when I lose the multiplayer itch.
