Level 3 Posts: 241 Group: Members Member #2,280 Joined: Jun 30, 2010	Well I FINALLY did it. After all this time I finally bought a PS2 with a copy of Kingdom Hearts. I am so excited! I bought it for $40 at GameStop. My local GameStop is selling a lot of PS2 stuff right now because in a few months the console will be obsolete and become a collectors item. I can't wait to have a lot of gaming hours on this!

Still, I hope you enjoy your PS2. P.S. you're reaction in the picture is the exact same one I had when I got mine on Christmas Day in 2001

I wanted one years ago and almost did but got a GameCube instead because I was a Nintendo kid but then I met my friend who was a SUPER PS2 user. He had an XBox and a GameCube and I only saw him touch the other two consoles once.

Level 2 Posts: 61 Group: Members Member #4,379 Joined: Oct 26, 2011	I'll give a few recommendations of games (although they may be mostly RPGs) for your PS2 =p Odin Sphere - quite difficult at times, but it has different difficulty settings which can be changed on the fly if needed. Amazing art direction and really nice mythology behind this fast paced action RPG. Shadow of the Colossus - brilliant game, which has influenced a lot of games since its release. Its up to you whether you want to try this and Ico on the PS2, or the recent HD remake on the PS3. I really enjoyed playing it on the PS2 though..Still need to play Ico, I don't know why I've still not finished it, its really short. Some more that I have that I've not actually played, but heard lots of good things about; Persona 3 FES Persona 4 Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call Dragon Quest VIII Suikoden V (I still need to find a copy of this, its pretty rare in Europe) Shadow Hearts Shadow Hearts II Shadow Hearts: From the New World There are tonnes of good games on the PS2..way too many for me to play I think. I'm one of the people who came to the PS2 quite late as well, so I'm catching up slowly =p
