I also have the Turtle Beach X12 for the Xbox 360 and it's fantastic. Comfortable, durable and it works on both the 360 and PC. It's a wired headset, so you do have to deal with the cords snaking across the floor, but the trade-off is not having to worry about your battery dying mid-game. I bought them about two months ago and I'm wondering how I ever did without.

To my knowledge, the X12 model is only compatible with the Xbox 360 and PC. However, here is a set that is comparable (in price and specs) for the PS3: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/turtle-beach-turtlebeach-earforce-p11-headset-playstation-3-8078380/10168374.aspx?path=b7188f4ffedacd43a4b7255bcc8875d1en02

I absolutely love my AudioTechnica ATH-M50's! 10+ foot cord so you can walk around a bit while listening to stuff or if you don't want all that cord you can get the kind that curls up. The only knock is there is no mic but in my opinion you can't get much more comfort for your ears.

the 100 difference btw the 2 mics are the astro mixamp, the headsets are similar in quality but for comfort i prefer the v2s, best setup for 200$ IMO is the astro mixamp with the siberia v2s... however if you wanna save money and you dont need surround sound, the siberias are perfect for you
