Hey guys I am new to this forum thing but I noticed there wasn't any discussion about this in the podcast or here on the forums yet so I just wanted to know what you guys think of Suda51, the developer Grasshopper, and the games that they have already put out as well as the ones that are coming out in the future. Are you guys excited for Lollipop Chainsaw and the xbla titles coming out? I know I am. Personally, I think that Suda51 is well as the developers at Grasshopper are some of the most creative, eccentric, unique, daring, and artistic game developers out there right now. Hes like the Quentin Tarantino of game developers and for that, hes just plain awsome in my opinion. What do you guys think of his unconventional and hyper-stylized games? What is your opinion on his first US title Killer7? What are some other interesting games that a fan of Suda51's style might be interested in? Killer 7 is easily one of my favorite games of all time and i feel that is a brilliant piece of art that is generally under appreciated. I was a big fan of the No more Heroes games and I also thought Shadows of the Damned was a pretty awesome game. Feel free to comment about these games! I'm also very interested in the DS port of Flower, Sun, & Rain. If any of you own or have played it, please let me know your thoughts on it because I cant find much about it on the YouTube. Thanks everyone |

Killer 7 to me is one of the most unique and artistic game I have ever played and for those reasons it is also one of my favourite games. The No More Heroes games were fun quirky action titles that are among some of my favourite games this generation. I do find Shadows of the Damned to be their weakest game but overall its still a good amount of fun.

I like his style. Is it a stretch to call him the Quentin Tarantino of video games? The games are generic action titles...but he just has a unique flare to them with dark humor and stuff so they are enjoyable and I like them. Edited by S_Pac316, May 17 2012, 06:25 PM.

Lollipop Chainsaw is one of my most anticipated games this year! I really like Shadows of the Damned as well. The only other games I've played from them were No More Heroes, and Killer 7 both of which I didn't like too much. |
