Everyone, atleast most people I know has some brand they just love, a love that can sometimes make it hard to see the flaws in products. What brands due you have these feelings towards?

Personally I have a soft spot for Samsung products, ranging from smartphones, tablets and TVs, every time I go into an electronics store I usually check out the new Samsung products as soon as I enter.

And obviuosly I have a major crush on The Elder Scrolls franchise, and I find it hard to criticize the games sometimes, even when it's justified.

Atlus is the only one i can think of, but that doesn't mean I don't see their faults I just TRY and overlook them. Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation isn't grabbing me though... I don't know if I'll be able to get into that one. Giant robots seem SO COOL but I've never been able to get into them (wait... a little bit with the original Voltron).

I guess Atlus as well, probably to the extent of a fanboy. I feel like they're the ideal company for people who grew up with videogames, they do seek out to make a profit, but Atlus isn't afraid to take risks or give lesser known titles a spin. Also, they're the developers of Persona, probably my favorite RPG of all time.

Not sure if it makes me a "fanboy" or not, but I usually prefer the DS version of a game, even if the better looking version is on another system. But if I like the game and another, better looking version exists and is cheap, I'll get that version, too. It helps if they're completely different games, like different levels and so forth even though they almost look the same otherwise. I'm sort of getting out of this now though since the DS isn't getting a lot of new games anymore and I've been playing more games on the computer, and there are a lot of DS-like games on Steam anyway (mostly the "indie" games).

I don't know if I'm a Nintendo "fanboy" either because of my top 5 systems with 4 of them being Nintendo systems, but most of them are very old. Nintendo seemed to change after lot beginning with the N64, and now that seems like ancient history. It would have been nice if cartridges weren't so expensive back then, and maybe the N64 would've been more viable for people. To me the N64 did have the much better 3D and graphics in general. Its lack of storage (or cost of) was its problem. I was also even more into RPGs back then than I am now, so N64 not getting the RPGs made me have to finally "switch" from Nintendo to the PS1, even though I felt like the PS1 was kind of garbage compared to the N64.

"Fanboy" might not be the right word. That's too strong. I think I just like how they do business and like seeing the games they create, even if they're not games I would personally want to buy. I like seeing variety on the system. I don't feel like any one system should be mostly dominant by one genre, like a system with almost nothing but fighting games or nothing but shooters, etc. I like seeing variety, even if I want none of the games. Some times it's interesting just to see what ideas developers come up with when they're encouraged to do something other than the ordinary that we expect. Creativity and variety are important, and Nintendo systems seem to deliver in that area.

I am a fanboy of Apple. I just love how they try to meld art, technology and ease of use into their products.

The weird thing is, I was a Microsoft fanboy for so long, that my younger self would NEVER had believed it!

I'm a pretty shameless Zelda fanboy, though I do lean more toward the 3D Zeldas. I'm also a horror game fanboy if that's possible, with an even sweeter spot for the Silent Hill games. I guess I was also a Pokemon fanboy at some point but I don't really think I could consider myself one anymore as I didn't really finish SoulSilver and never really got into White... I'm also a Fallout 3 fanboy :D

For me it would have to be Nintendo and, more specifically, The Legend of Zelda. I don't know if I would qualify as a "fanboy", because I don't see obvious faults and ignore them or defend them to the end of the Earth, but I do really love Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda is my favorite game franchise.

Damn, I just looked through all my things Samsung, Microwave, Wireless phone, Smartphone, Tablet, TV, PC Monitor(s), DVD player and my old laptop. Didn't actually realize Samsung was that prevalent in my home.
