I grew up in 80 and 90 and I have many fond memories from that time. Like the atari the nes, old computer games, movies, tv shows like the ninja turtles, power rangers, hiclick, transformers, voltron the list can go on and on. But there are some things from my childhood that I dont miss at all. Like Pauly Shore  This dude was big in the 90's how he got famous is beyond me. In my opinion his movies where horrible. He always play the same character in everyone one of his movies and his voice was annoying. I would rather sleep naked on a pile of broken glass than watch any of this guy movies. Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills.  Has anybody heard or rember this show? I would not be surprise if nobody had. I use to watch it dont know why because i hated it, i think it was one of those show that is so bad that I could not look away. The premise of the show was an alian blob wich look like an overgrown bugger recruit four teenager from Beverly Hills to fight evil. He give them tatoo based on a constellation in the celestial sphere. I guess one thing that stood out was how back in the day we had 56k modem computers that could hardly do anything, internet was very slow. There was no Youtube, no streams, no videos. Back then, if I didn't have any new games to play, I would be watching TV, and alot of times there wasn't anything remotely interesting for me to watch. So if one thing I'm happy about now that I hated back then was being bored because of how there really wasn't anything to do. Now, I always have something to do since you're not obligated to watch what the channels were airing. Also, another thing I don't miss are VHS and cassettes. As much as I like them for how cheap they are now, I'm glad we moved forward with DVD. But I think my main problem was how the film would unwind and tangle, or how the big bulky boxes look unpleasant compared to Books, games boxes, DVDs. Then there's the CD player/Walkman, I didn't really dislike this as much either, but iPods are so much more convenient and don't waste batteries. I also got tired of bringing a CD along with me whenever I wanted to listen to multiple albums.. But I also had fond memories of having my CD player... I guess what I'd hate is if we went back to that. This is one I definitely hated, not having a car. My mom would usually take me to a outside courses/karate during the weekends, and alot of my weekends after her picking me up consisted of just hanging out in the mall. I guess this isn't bad for everyone since you could just go to EB games and play games there, but this is not an exaggeration when I saw my mom would spend an upwards of 5 hours at the mall. It was ridiculous and I'm glad I have a car compared to back then. Edited by MidiPour, Mar 17 2012, 05:00 PM.
