Hello ounce again persons who are reading this! This is my review of my most loved games on PS2, Dark Cloud 2. Story: the story of DC2 is that the planet was destroyed by a emberror named Griffen, why he destroyed the world? I honestly don't remember. But he spared one town, the town of Palm Brinks. He belives there is a stone hidden in this town and wants it. Enters Maxamillon, a son of the richest guy in the town. Max has the stone that Griffon whats around his neck, because his father gave it to him as a gift. Enters Flotsome a clown running a circus in Palm Brinks in hope that he will be able to find the stone in order to give it to his boss, Griffon. Now I'm not gonna go into anymore detail for spoillers sake. Gameplay: Dark Cloud 2 is a dungeon crawler RPG, but instead of leveling up your charecters your leveling up and evolving your weapons, pretty cool, huh? The way you level up your weapons in Dark Cloud 2 is a little bit different than the original Dark Cloud, in 2 you just beat up monsters and they drop ABS (magic absorb status) and that acts as exp for your weapons. Get enough ABS and your weapon levels up. When your weapon levels up it gets more attack power added to it but it also gets Synthesis points when it levels up too. Synthesis points let you power up your weapons by synthesising items into your weapons to increase different kinds of stats. You have no idea how much depth is in this system, if you want your weapon to be good at a certain thing, just give it a lot of the item that gives it stat that you want. But for your weapons to get even more better you have to evolve or "build up" them. Buiding up your weapon will not only drmaticly increase its stats but also make it look cooler. DC2 is a dungeon crawler in wich you go into the dungeon, kill monsters, find the key that one of the monsters is holding, advance through the dungeon, fight a boss at the end, rinse try and repeat. But there's also other things you can do in the game like fish, play golf, invent things, and a few other things. So yes i do recomend this to anyone who like dungeon crawlers and RPG's alike, but be warned the game is incredibly long, and you'll need to invest a lot of time in the game to beat it. Welp, thats my review of Dark Cloud 2. I hope you enjoyed my review
