Here is a trick I learned in the navy a while back and just never mentioned on here. It's an old trick that few teachers know for whiteboards(most don't actually know about this). It works on most plastics to take off permanent markers, the less porous the better. This does NOT work on paper or boxes. Use this method at your own risk, but I promise you it works almost all the time. First of all, make sure it's not grease pencil because that wipes off fairly easily. Second, take a black dry erase marker(you can use other colors but it may ruin the dry erase markers color.) Scribble over the entire area the permanent marker is on with the dry erase marker, then immediately wipe it off. Do this several times if it doesn't come off easily. When you have almost all of it off, you may need to do one quick wipe with water or rubbing alcohol to get the final layer of film off. I've used this method to take perm. marker off of cartridges, whiteboards, ceramics, and many other materials. It works. It works well. |

Yeah, that's an old trick. You can also use a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. Those take ink and other crap right off of consoles and carts. |

tried the dry erase worked pretty well. the magic eraser works great but it is basically sand paper so you have to be careful cause it will also take the texture right off a game cart. |
