Hey guys, Mamrul here! So while drinking my brews, I believe that there needs to be a thread about the drinks everyone is drinking. Make a bit of a beer community (for those who can) ill start off with what I am drinking right now. First off was a recommendation from the Rad Rascals, it is Tsung Tao. Absolutely great beer from China. Really enjoyed it ![]() Secondly, it's this Hornsbys Hard Cider. Really really nice cider which will hold me till I'm able to find myself a stock of Magners Irish Cider. ![]() Now let's see what everyone else has their hands on. Till next time Marmul Out!! |

My name is Ben and I endorse this thread! Tsingtao is a very good Chinese pilsner-style beer that I enjoy quite a bit. It's actually one of the less expensive brands here in Toronto, believe it or not. I have yet to try Hornsby's, though. I am a fan of dry cider such as Sir Perry, but I am not that fond of really sweet ones. I'll post some of my brands here as I drink them...I promise, it wouldn't all be in one day

I'm fortunate enough to live in a beer loving state and beer loving city. Colorado Springs is full of micro brews. I usually have a house stocked full of growlers from various local breweries, however tonight I'm simply drinking a Kilians. I've had a thing for reds lately. |

Best Beer I ever had was in Rhodes, Greece. I don't think they export it though. If anyone knows for sure, correct me.

I love Mythos. I'm not sure if you can get it in the US, but it's readily available here in Canada. |

I wish I could experience more eclectic beers. Unfortunetely there isnt a big microbrew community here or a good liquor store that carries much. I do enjoy Sam Adams Cherry Wheat though. |

If you're coming to Ontario, the LCBO (our liquor store chain) sells it for $12.50 for a 6-pack. Well worth it, I must say. Should you ever venture here, I also highly recommend a brand called Mill Street, which is a Microbrewery in Toronto that makes some fantastic beer. They have a really good pilsner, a great tankhouse ale and a delicious organic lager. A bit on the pricey side (it costs more than Stella), but it's well worth it. |

I know this is a "beer" thread, but I'm definitely more of a liqour girl. And having a fiancee that has a side job as a liquor-taste-tester and a brother-in-law who is a merchandiser makes for quite the nice selection. ![]() However, if I do have to drink beer it either has to be a Corona, or this really great German beer called Lowenbrau. The top part of our liqour display

That's a fine selection of liquor, TatSplat. I'm actually a licensed bartender (as a hobby - I don't work as one), so I look at all of those bottles and think of the cocktails I could make with them. It's amazing how versatile a simple bottle of amaretto or triple sec can be. Lowenbrau is also a fantastic beer - one of the most popular import brands here. |

lol If taken in moderation, I'd assume it be harmless. But I sometimes don't sleep, so I abuse the crap out of coffee. I couldn't go a day without one or two caffeinated beverages on a regular day, if I do that... I'll have to deal with headaches. I know the thread is about beer, but I hardly drink that. If I do, it generally tends to be in social circumstances where I would benefit with having something in my hand rather than being the "anti-social asshole" as we say here. But I definitely try to drink as little as I possibly can, people can have fun without alcohol, but I can understand the dependency or how it might relaxe us.

We can get it here in the UK too if you know where to look. I really only drink it in this awesome little greek restraunt we have here, not one of my favs but its quite nice. I think i mentioned this local brewer in one of the rad rascals threads, Brewdog Beer. They have numerous beers on offer now ranging from from the hoppy, fruity and light all the way to the nasty mess up your liver kind of stuff. I usually quaff the "Punk IPA" at 5.6%, or the "Hardcore IPA" hitting in at 9.2%. But occasionally i will hit some of the higher ones like the 18.2% "Tokyo*". Also available though are the 32% Tactical Nuclear Penguin and the 41% Sink The Bismarck! Neither of which i'd advise drinking by yourself in one sitting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The bars they own offer an ever changing selection of quality beers from all over the world which can make for eventful evenings if you get find a brew you love. You just gotta know when to stop! |

Heineken, Becks and Stella Artois if I want a brunette. Another pretty good one is Tuborg and Ursus is probably the best romanian beer but i rarely go for the last two.

I absolutely love Alaskan Amber... so tasty and smooth. I also recently discovered Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewery. Oh...my...god... I'm also a huge fan of Guinness on tap from a pub that understands how to properly chill and pour the beer. |

I tried Alaskan Amber once and thought it was fantastic Guinness is also an old favorite of mine. If you're a fan of thicker dark beers, I highly recommend Fuller's London Porter and Boddington's, both fantastic beers. I am also very partial to Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale, which is delicious and velvety smooth. I'm might just have one now. Excuse me....
