Hey guys, Mamrul here! So while drinking my brews, I believe that there needs to be a thread about the drinks everyone is drinking. Make a bit of a beer community (for those who can) ill start off with what I am drinking right now. First off was a recommendation from the Rad Rascals, it is Tsung Tao. Absolutely great beer from China. Really enjoyed it  Secondly, it's this Hornsbys Hard Cider. Really really nice cider which will hold me till I'm able to find myself a stock of Magners Irish Cider. That's a nice selection of beer. I'm not big on Stella, but that's an interesting looking pale ale, and I've always enjoyed Newcastle. This thread is making me thirsty

Beer people, I have a question. What makes this beer so desirable? I literally spent $700 dollars on this stuff yesterday since my friends and family were going nuts for this stuff, and begged me to ship it out to them since all of their stores ran out of stock. Ran out within an hour too at my liquor store despite the price, it's $91 dollars with tax. I seriously don't understand it. My sister said it's some special monk beer, but still...$91 dollars for six beers. You'd think for that price it would come with a bj too lol.  |

Seriously, I'd probably only get this if I was splitting it with a few people. lol. I like beer, but I'm not sure I can justify that price. Made my life easy though, good X-mas present for my Uncle and a few others

I looked into it, It'd cost me around $130 for 6 bottles here in the UK. I'm extremely curious, but fuck that shit. Is it a one-time affair? After this - no more exports? Cos it'd be a good investment... |

At least when it comes to the United States it sounded like it was a one time deal. Not sure about Europe since it originates in Belgium. I'm bummed out because I really want to try it. |

...A beer thread? Awesome! (Just listened to episode 1, working on episode 2 now!) I haven't had a great variety of stuff to drink, but I'm an enormous fan of Samuel Adams. I do enjoy their Boston Lager and Winter Ale. I also love a local brew near me, the Harpoon UFO Hefeweizen. Stuff is awesome. |

I bought a six pack of Bud Light Platinum, and I'm sorry but that stuff still tastes like shit. All my friends say it's so much better than regular Bud Light but yuck, it's still awful. |

So yeah this thread needs to be revived. Maybe we can move it to the Off Topic section? Anyone have some fall beer recommendations? Planning on doing some booze shopping tomorrow (: Went to Seattle for PAX and had Dark O' The Moon at the Elysian Brewery on Capital Hill. Probably one of my favorite beers now. Absolutely loved it! Really wish I could get my hands on this in Nevada or California, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

don't know how i missed this thread.... I'm a fan of Newcastle its my go to beer. I can drink it anytime! I have also became a fan of Dos Equis so long as I have limes to add to it. The limes really set it off, I almost cant drink it without them. I also like Bass and Sam Adams. @ NinjaPenguin8969 - Sam Adams makes a Harvest Collection Variety Pack of beer for the fall (AUGUST - OCTOBER) that is worth checking out. Man I really wish I would of got some of some of that Westvleteren beer last year since I looked it up and its considered the best beer in the world!! Edited by majinpowers, Sep 10 2013, 11:13 AM.

Best beer in all of Europe in my opinion, really unique taste with a lot of different impressions, and the stroke of vanilla in the aftertaste is amazing!

@majinpowers, my sis and brother in law drank it and they said it was really overrated. I still wish I would have bought a case for myself. Two beers for tonight. Shipyard Pumpkinhead is really nasty. It's just gross it tastes like you're drinking water, and then afterwards you get a hint of artificial pumpkin and some spice. Narwhal from Sierra Nevada on the other hand is excellent! 10.5% stout and has a strong taste of cocoa with a hint of coffee and raisins. Really great, I'm going to pick up more on Friday.
