I come to all gamers present with a pressing question. Which video card is best? the gtx 680 or hd 7970? Well according to what i've seen the gtx 680 beats the 7970 in almost every benchmark, but i've also heard the 680 has a problem an analogy could be the red ring of death from the xbox but this time the whole screen turns red and it gets very hot are these rumors true? What are your opinions? |

I would either go with the 7970 myself or wait until Nvidia releases a revision of the 680 card because I have saw lots of bad reviews and horror stories about the 680. As far as performance goes I dont think either card will have any problems playing any game on highest settings because the 6870 and 580 still do. The 680 is going to be top dog in bench tests and stress tests but in real world use even cards 2 generations old have no problems playing modern games with max settings. |
