Hey guys, I used to be really into gaming from about 12-17. I used to play a looooot of video games, and I would get so enthralled in just about every single one of them, and i loved it! But as i hit my later teenage years, I just couldnt get into it like i used to be able to, and i miss it so much!I'm now 20, and I'm dying to fully immerse myself in the virtual world yet again. Sooo, I was wondering if any of you have ever had this happen to you, and what did you do to get out of it? Any particular games? I'm open to just about any genre of videogame, but I really like the titles that are along the lines of the Elder Scrolls, the Fable series, online strategy based fps a la Battlefield 2, havent played the new one, and RTS games that ACTUALLY play well on the console. |

You walk up to a mountain that has two paths. One leads to the other side of the mountain, and the other will get you lost forever. You meet two twins know the path that leads to the other side. You can ask each twin only one question. The problem? One always lies and one always tells the truth, and you don't know which is which. What do you ask to find the path? | |

Welcome back to the dark side, young one, we have been expecting you ![]() On a serious note, I went through a few phases were I feel out of love with gaming and gave it up, with each phase typically lasting about 3 years. To be honest, there isn't a particular game that got be back into it, rather my old passion just came back and I wanted to play games again. Similarly, nothing specific turned me off of gaming, just my interest waned over time and I naturally just stopped playing. That is the great thing about gaming, it's something you can easily fall back into if you've taken a break, but it should never be forced. If you're wondering what would be a good point to start with, why not go back to your old favorites? When I got back into gaming in the early 2000's, the SNES was the first console I revisisted. |

I've never been completely removed from gaming, but I have gone through periods where I didn't play that much, and I found that the best cure for that, is to go on a collecting spree (for me atleast), when I get new systems and games I always get excited to play them, even if i'm going through a down period. |
